You’re not derailing at all, I only suggested it because it was a fantastic support for me to have my threads when it happened to me. I made lifelong friends too. In the meantime, keep hydrated. I lived off protein shakes for quite a while because I couldn’t eat but I had a disabled toddler so needed to be as present as possible. It’s a horrendous time but I promise you it gets better. Make sure you seek some legal advice if there are joint assets and CMS if there are children.

@strugglingwithlife I am so sorry you are going through such a tough time. I'm two years on from splitting with my now ex h and one year from divorce. Haven't eaten properly for all that so I second who I was that said about keeping hydrated and protein shakes if necessary. Allow yourself the time to grieve for the present you've lost and the future that is now different. There will be tough times but also lots of wins too. Take care of yourself, however that manifests itself.
