We're in the middle of the long hot Summer of 2025. CORONATION STREET THREAD. **No spoilers please.**

You can see half the cast all shiny from the heat and humidity. And probably will for a couple more months yet at least!

Not a lot has changed since the beginning of the last thread!

Nina and Summer had a close shave when the police thought they'd attacked Gary when they were 'tripping.' Turned out it was Lou (who has been arrested.)

Lauren is falling for Aadi (he is cute to be fair.)

Debbie is fairly stable but sadly still has dementia.

Looks like Mick is going to cause trouble again, after being arrested for killing Craig. And Sally and Tim have been taking care of his and Lou's children.

Not much to be seen of the older characters, (I mean - like people who have been there 20+ years, not just the ones who've been there from the 1960s/1970s etc,) and Corrie is a little bit crime, and doom heavy at the moment.

But we do have a few 'light-hearted' moments to keep us going.

George and Glenda are always worth watching, Tim and Steve are funny together. Not fond of Cassie, but am warming to her and Steve being together, (and am warming to her a bit...) Debbie is a star and it's sad that she's ill, and DeeDee appears to be pining for her baby that she has 'given' to her brother James. James is being a bit of an arse to her too. Hope the little girl (Laila) stays in Coronation Street! She is adorable!

Kev has been given the all clear and doesn't have cancer now, but is telling everyone he does. Tyrone has caught him out though, and told him he needs to tell Abi!

Swain has been given desk duties, and counselling, (after the trauma of the death of her colleague Craig,) but isn't taking to the counselling, as she thinks she's fine.

I agree. That was a stupid little storyline!

Call me sad and I don't blame you but I notice bad continuity and there's supposed to be someone employed in production to check no mistakes are made. In the pub Lauren handed Debbie a full glass of wine but when Debs took the glass it was only 1/4 full. 🍷

Tina O'Brien who plays Sarah has always been/is exceptionally pretty. I am surprised some people have only just noticed. She still looks over a decade younger than her age.
I don't agree that Maria looks young for her age though. There's been a few scenes recently where it's obvious that her makeup is very thick and you could clearly see how much she's aged. One scene in particular where she was fully made up but in a dressing gownn I think she's reasonably attractive but lost her youthful looks sometime ago.

We do need more Ryan and Debbie scenes, I love seeing those two together

I find Ryan a little vanilla. I think he’s more eye candy than actor, but that could be the scripts.
My husband, who loves to sit chummering while Corrie is on, remarked how miraculously well healed Ryan’s acid scar is. You can barely see it. Damn that hospital is good!

When it began I instantly wondered if I'd missed an episode....as usual.

Well I did miss it I was watching Ginny and Georgia. I don’t know if I can be bothered to watch it.

And always seems to have her nails done.

I'm always baffled at how "skint" most of the street are but yet eat & drink in the pub, the cafe, the bistro & Speed Daal and the women always have lovely nails. 🙈

In fairness, she did get a lot of wear out of the red one that she wore almost non-stop for three years

I think I must have missed loads. Why is Lou in prison? Has Adie told Dev about the robbery? Who is Carla writing to in prison?

Lou is in prison because she attacked Gary and because she might have known about Micks plan to break out of prison. Carla is writing to Logan for some reason, not sure why it then she texted Michael saying it wasn’t a good idea and I don’t think Aadi has told Dev. He was going too and then Bernie walked through the door making out there was an emergency at the kebab place so Bernie stopped Aadi telling Dev

I had to google who Logan was! Of course I'd forgotten because he was part of that huge tangled crime mess that I zoned out of.

I can’t remember who Logan is either!

Logan was Masons brother .
He was involved in the accident involving Becky , Swains wife .

I think Carla is trying to find out why they were hired to run her over ?🤔

Addie has told Dev there was a "burglary" .
But not that it was a scam/inside job because the accounts are all messed up .

Trying to remember who was hired to run over whom. Actually more interested in whether whom is the right word!

Corrie is never on, on a Tuesday. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm so for the rest of this week, it is unchanged. It’s on Wednesday and a Friday at 8pm when I last looked. I know it’s all change from next year with the soap power hour they’ve called it

My newspaper listing has it today or alternatively tomorrow depending on soccer fixtures.
