On week 5 now (I think,) and I don't think there is one single solid couple at the moment. They're all over the place! 😬

I'm also a Cach fan, but just have to raise - I do think a big part of his hurt was being the last man standing at the firepit, which someone always has to be. It felt like the number of times he mentioned that, it was the main thing that upset him rather than losing Toni per se, which he could arguably have seen coming. If someone else had picked him, he mightn't have been so sore, and he did totally ignore all the nice things Emma said about him, and presumably wasn't into her. I think he's a good guy and will do well out of LI, but I don't think Toni was for him and was only good for getting him into the villa, not a serious prospect.

It turns out Lauren and Ty knew each other before love island apparently

What??? So are they pretending that's not the case? Seems so!

Polaopposite · 16/07/2025 22:40

There’s only one Ovie!!

There’s only one Ovie!!

I so agree but Cach is the second Ovie. Ovie is obviously a one off and completely irreplaceable. Mould broken

Givemethesun · 16/07/2025 22:59

I am a bit confused why Lauren is crying so much (just catching up)

Shrimpybaby · 16/07/2025 23:01

I'm getting bored of this season now.

Way too much Toni and her cringey American daytime TV acting. No real couples and too late in the day for any now.

I quite liked connor and Shakira but I think Megan was the one for him. They made a mistake losing her so early.

They all seem like they want to go home now and start their new insta famous lives. It's been more like big brother this year than love island!

Emma and Boris! Where did that come from?!

I do wonder if, with all the airtime being given to Harry’s Son, Lauren and Toni, we have missed other interesting things brewing in the villa. But the producers had to show Boris and Emma as they had gone into the Hideaway.

Shrimpybaby · 16/07/2025 23:03

@givemethesun me too. She's known Harrison for about a week. I don't think she's very bright bless her and can't seem to quite keep up or anticipate what might happen inc the impact sleeping with someone after a few days on national television might have.

Not sure what to think about that .wasn't Lauren also manipulative as others have said ? Anyway am sure Toni will deal with Harrison.

jay55 · 17/07/2025 08:46

Harrison is a lying dickhead but I don’t think we’ve seen anything particularly coercive.

heroinechic · 17/07/2025 09:13

Harrison has struggled to make up his mind and in doing so, has hurt feelings (similarly to Toni). Criticisms of his behaviour are well founded. However, there’s nothing coercive about him IMO.

Lauren chose to sleep with him knowing the facts. If he hadn’t chosen Toni, coercion wouldn't even be a question.

ErlingHaalandsManBun · 17/07/2025 09:24

I don't think Harrisons behaviour has been coercive or abusive. He has just been a massive prick.

jolies1 · 17/07/2025 09:34

I think people can be really quick to jump on the abusive / coercive bandwagon now when sometimes people have just made poor choices. Unless there are things we haven’t seen, she made the choice to sleep with him despite knowing he was wavering & being aware of his past behaviour. I’m sure a lot of us have been involved with men who acted poorly but we weren’t victims, just learnt some lessons the hard way! She shouldn’t feel bad, she’s learning!

pinkdelight · 17/07/2025 10:08

Exactly! I guess it's just a way for them to get publicity for their cause, which is a good cause but not apt for Harrison and Lauren's situation as far as we know and I don't see how any background checks would help, unless Harrison has a criminal record for DV or somesuch, which I doubt. If they're going to exclude any young people who had messy early relationships, that'll be slim pickings!

jay55 · 17/07/2025 10:13

If they were pointing at Meg and Dijon being coercive I’d probably nod my head. But even then it’s more they’re both toxic.
This year is the year of the fuckboy on love island.

Waitinggame42023 · 17/07/2025 10:15

I've just seen that apparently Ofcom received a lot of complaints about Shakira's negative (and Helena's cherry-picked) editing on Movie Night.

Plasticwaste · 17/07/2025 10:45

People need to get a life.

Pinkribbon19 · 17/07/2025 11:00

I think people think he’s gas lighting, because he sometimes turns things on them? Like he said to Toni that she’s the one creating a problem. Or he ‘forgets’ what he’s said and makes the girls question it

Pinkribbon19 · 17/07/2025 11:01

Has anyone seen that apparently Ty and Lauren hooked up when they in holding before going into Casa? I think it was one of the other Casa people who has said it

Pinkribbon19 · 17/07/2025 11:05

Sorry, during the ‘dry run’

Mustard pissed me off more than Harrison last night. I was a bit confused at first why he was telling Harrison he preferred Lauren over Toni... then I realised. He knows when Harrison is with Lauren they're not a threat as the public had them at the bottom. Then to totally deny it when Toni pulled him up on it and for Harrison to dumbly agree he was just consoling him 🙄 I do think Harrison is quite thick and indecisive, rather than calculating and manipulative - which is exactly what Mustard is.

I doubt Toni will do anything regarding Harrison sleeping with Lauren, despite saying how disgusted she is with him. I do feel for Lauren, but I'm pretty sure she'd take him back again and I lose sympathy for people like that.

Was very confused with the Billykiss/Cach convo. I may have been half asleep but to me it seemed like she gave him the go ahead to speak to other people... even though they're not together?

Cach's tears I found a bit bizarre. I have nothing against men crying but a bit odd to do it out of embarrassment 🤔 It's refreshing he didn't get angry but tears are a bit extreme. Ty was very sweet the way he consoled him though ❤️

Could Harry have sounded any more unconvincing when he repeated Helena's "yessssss Em!" 🤣🤣
