I agree that Harry looks bored now and is mentally checking out. I wonder if his ego has been a bit bruised by Emma as he seemed certain to begin with that she was coming in wanting him back. I think he regrets his choice and feels a bit stuck with Helena but there's nowhere else to explore connections with. I'm not sure if he'd crack on with a new bombshell either due to the fear of how it'll make him come across at this point. Thought it was interesting that Emma and him had a weird hush hush type of convo in relation to Shakira. I wonder if he's previously admitted to Emma that he regrets that choice.

I thought Toni told Harrison he had to get rid of Lauren and he basically agreed? Yet she doesn't now seem to be pissed off that he hasn't cut Lauren off totally 🙄 Lauren has so much to learn.... Harrison has got what he wanted, he'll be off trying to win Toni back for sure now. I really thought girls in there over the past few years have respected themselves more in that way, unlike the original few series, when they were all giving it out.

Shakira will REALLY want to kick Harrison out... and it's a shame if she doesn't know about the bedroom antics.. as I think she would then and just face the wrath of Toni, knowing it's in her best interests.

I knew Emma was still into Harry. How pathetic. So every bad thing she's said about him, despite being true, has been to put the others off him. If ever anybody needed to heed their own advice....

Maybe ty will tell shakeira the bedroom antics and she kick him out!
I really feel for Lauren. She's such a young girl who seems very unaware. I feel like that shouldn't have been shown on tv....

And I agree! Harry has checked out. I think he was probably shocked to see S not go pinning after him, or any other girls for that matter! I wouldn't be suprised if he left on his own terms...

I also wonder whether movie night had any impact on Harry. He's not as dim as the likes of Meg who couldn't reflect on any of it. He might not regret his actions, but it did seem like the spark had gone out of him as he sat shoving popcorn in his gob while Helena went over the same old ground. Like he was self-aware enough to know it's not going to be all fun and games in the real world, and isn't in there any more with the Emma headaches, no real affection for Helena, and not much chance of any new toys to play with it. The male friendships aren't as strong this year either. I was surprised when Dejon said Helena was his best friend in there, and now Ben's gone and maybe Tommy tonight, it feels like Harry is quite untethered. He makes a play of encouraging Harrison but that's not the same as having real mates. He could be having a low-key identity crisis, which is probably long overdue.

The next morning, when eating breakfast on the terrace, didn’t Lauren ask Harrison if he had told the boys? Did she seem worried/ embarrassed/ keen to keep it private? Not really.

It was Harrison who told her that he didn’t want it getting round the whole villa. Lauren wants everyone to know so it gets back to Toni.

Lauren is a fool but she made her own decisions because she wanted to get one up on Toni. She was absolutely aware of what she was doing, where the cameras are and that their behaviour would be discussed. She’s not a naive 19 year old. She’s a 26 year old, grown woman.

Quite! It's not like she saw nothing of the series and is under any illusions that Harrison is some romantic prize. He'd already been a fuckboy messing Toni around with Helena, and Lauren came in at Casa to bag him/a place in the villa. He can't have given her even 24hrs of stability since she's been in there, so to go all in on trying to win his worthless affections is at best dumb/misguided and at worst a cynical gameplaying move. It's hard to feel any sympathy for her, but I do wish it was possible for Harrison to get dumped in this cut. Highly unlikely for Shakira to do that though, she's not Toni's keeper - she's said her POV that he's no good and then it's up to Toni to make her own decisions, and Lauren too.

I think Harry will happily explore with the next bombshell, given Emma was in the bottom. Emma will lecture and get wasps bum face and the producers will manage her out to give us back fun Harry.

I don’t really understand all the Emma hate - she does know him much better, they had a real-world relationship where they lived together. It far supersedes all of the superficial relationships that form in there over a matter of days/weeks. I think Harry has changed because he’s embarrassed to act up in front of her.

Everyone knows that she must know Harry better, but she doesn’t need to mention it. She’s made herself look desperate and a mug.
I really don’t think harry is that interested in getting back with her, but he can’t help throw in little retorts to make a girl feel wanted and special, even if he doesn’t actually mean it. So Emma is now clinging onto one reply like he wants her. His body language of crossed arms also makes me think he isn’t interested. He’s not interested in Helena either, she was forbidden fruit and he’s now bored.

I hate how they so obviously protect certain islanders and just ghost everybody else when it doesn't fit production narrative.

I want to see more of Yas and Billykiss in their couples, not these ten-second snippets while the rest of the show wangs on about Meg, Helena and Toni in their useless angst couples.

Yes, wish we could see a bit more of Billy kiss and Boris. He seemed quite fun. Yasmins getting on well with her guy too.

Why is Ty sitting down while Shakira stands up to announce the dumping? Maybe Ty doesn’t agree with the decision 🤷🏼‍♀️

Judging by Meg saying ‘Is that what Harry pulled her for ? ‘ followed by what the *uck’ does it mean Emma is going to choose Harry in the recoupling

If Emma gets to chose Harry, that’ll be yet another recoupling where Helena has to accept the leftovers.

There are some i forget are in there as theyre barely shown which is a shame. Its been entertaining this year but not a fan of any of them really, its quite obvious that the producers have favourites and are keen to keep them in and push their storylines (Toni). For me its missing fun though, the earlier seasons were chaotic but we also saw them messing about together, the games were good, and it was more lighthearted. I hope with the better viewing figures this series they can off the winter/all stars series and invest more in games etc next summer.

I agree with this. I am missing the fun element. I mean, I think they have nailed it for twists and drama this year, it has been good TV and I have enjoyed it. But I think there needs to be a balance between drama and fun.

Not many challenges this year, which has been good because they should be fun but never are. But I remember the year when Chris was doing his salmon impressions jumping into the pool and its good to see them messing about and having fun. I think they keep most of that stuff for unseen bits but I would rather them dump the 'unseen bits' show altogether, and just extend the main show each night by 15 minutes instead and show us some more of the daft stuff in the main show. The casa lads doing the dance was brilliant. More of that and less of 'pulling for chats' would be great.

At least they have listened to us and stopped sending them on boring dates!!

I'd like more off the fun stuff... but not those awful games 🙈 I've liked the games this year as they've thrown in a bit of pot stirring, but the games from earlier series were awful... the one where they passed drink from mouth to mouth in particular 🤮 Also glad they got rid of the bit where they were all running and jumping in slow mo on the way to a challenge

Haha yeah I hate those as well, but i liked the tweet ones etc! I hate the morning chats the most, I always watch on catch up and fast forward them, would rather some of the more relaxed stuff during the day. It feels like the series is really long though, still a few weeks left i think!

I wish it was more like the Saturday Unseen bits, big brother style and less scripted.

I find the challengea so boring someone sliding a long a wet ramp etc but I would like to see emore fun and natural discussions like when Yasmin gave them a posture lesson.

This lot do seem incapable of having silly fun. They could make a frisbee out of a makeup pallet or do play skittles with shampoo bottles.
All the lying around would drive me totally insane.
