Hi everyone
Have a last minute child free night doesn't happen very often and I'm thinking I might have a later night than normal. I enjoy thrillers, dramas and rom coms but I'm looking for some feel good movies to watch. Any suggestions?

Toxic Town is a mini series on Netflix, a bit like a UK Erin Brokovich story.

This is not feelgood at all, OP do not watch this!

OP one of my favourites is the Wedding Singer with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore! You may already have seen it though if you like a romcom.

Also That Thing You Do! with Liv Tyler. Great fun.

Hairspray is on Netflix, if musicals are your thing. The songs are so catchy and it has some very funny lines.

Thanks for the suggestions so far!
Love a good rom com and a musical I've not seen hair spray in years. Like the sound of that thing you do. I would prefer to stick to feel good watches tonight

Thank you for this thread. Good timing for me as well. Do you mind me jumping in here? I’m looking for something similar for tomorrow (Sat) evening. I want something feel-good, with no violence and preferably no sex scenes. I’m also limited to BBC, ITV, C4 and Prime.

OP - what did you decide to watch? Would it fit my criteria?

Green Book
The Wedding Date
Dear Frankie

I watched The Sapphires on Netflix the other night - a really quirky feel-good film! X
