Meh. Anyhoo, back to Moira. Why did she let them run (and limp) away? She’s the one with the shot gun and the child could have called the police because I’m pretty sure one of them would have had a phone on them or he could have run to the house. Although this is Emmerdale where no doubt 27 teenagers could be in desperate trouble and not one of them would have a working phone despite normally having to have them surgically removed at meal times.

The football bit would have been filmed on Sunday night. Eastenders did a bit too. They've done these things in the past and slip them in at the beginning, Eastenders did similar when Michael Jackson died, they also did a bit when the England Men's team won their match last year. It's why it's only ever two or three people in that scene.
