So Love Island is now on week 3. Will the arguing and bickering and catfighting continue....... ??? (Probably!) 🙄

I’m pretty sure the girls got one extra day last year. I thought it was because the girls would need to build deeper connections to “stray” but now they’ve done it the other way this year, I think it must be to make producing/editing the episodes easier!

I think whoever goes to Casa Amor gets the additional night. So if the girls go, which I think they did last year, they get it.

I think Rheo looks like Dannii minogue.
i think all the lads bar Dejon will take someone back. Maybe not Tommy. I don’t think Tommy likes Emily but taking someone back doesn’t fit his image.

I really dislike the mustard man. "There's a few girls that don't get I'm just not into them" or whatever it was he said. He's so arrogant. I'm loving that if the girls there don't give him the time of day it will be a knock to his ego, but at the same time MyMeg will think he's knocked them all back to stay true to her 🙄

And I've forgotten who said something along the lines of "the girls in Casa make more effort". Well of course they do, as they're all desperate to get taken back to the villa 🙄🙄

Amusing episode, just to see Harry and Dejon's faces at not being picked for a snog. Harry's face watching his ex kiss everyone else was a picture.
Betting money on Dejon going back and asking Meg to be exclusive now he knows no-one else is interested. I want them both out, awful pair.
Hope Giorgio finds someone, he seems the most decent.

I was laughing at how Dejon was in the front of the pick up taking them to Casa, as if eager to get first dibs. I think he’ll stick with His (🤢) Meg though and make it about his loyalty and not the fact they all pied him off. I do think he likes her though - and wants to win too.

Emma, on behalf of women around the world who have wasted time with a fuck boy: you queen. This is the kind of character scrutiny and analysis I’ve been waiting for. Such a breath of fresh air.

Didn’t see it coming really but I love Giorgio and Yasmin. Not necessarily together but I hope they both make a strong connection.

It was Ben that said the casa girls were more lively and more fun and flirty. I thought the same. They always are because they want to get into the main villa. Then their personalities suddenly change and they back right off and the boys are like 'you are different than you were in casa' 😂Happens every year.

That line Dejon was spouting was so obviously defensive and really meant "I say I'm open as I don't want to fully commit to MyMeg but I'm scared of her and not allowed to flirt so have to pretend I'm not attracted to anyone else even though I totally am but I have to blame them for not being attractive so I don't get in trouble." The guy would be all over Emma and others given the chance, but he's bought into the idea that he and MyMeg will win so will make out his lack of casa activity was his choice and go closed off when he gets back. And then hopefully they'll get voted out as a couple and pave the way for more fun folk!

Emma told it like it was. I think Harry's playing a game though saying he preferred her to Helena. He’s trying to redeem himself and make himself look good.

She doesn’t want anything to do with him but not sure she’ll be picked by any of the other guys and brought back to the house.

I like Georgio and hope there is someone for him. He seems like a genuine guy as does Tommy.

Dejon is running scared, he could be having a lot of fun in the house but is stuck with Meg. I think they think they’ll win but there’s no personality to them as a couple - they’re totally boring.

Dejon and Meg won’t last in the outside. He will look back and realise that he missed opportunities and didn’t have the “full” Love Island experience. And he will blame her. Not himself. Her.

I also thought Harry said he prefers Emma in some kind of attempt to endear himself to her and make her think he wants to rekindle something - imo to prevent her spilling the beans about him. He doesn’t give a shit about anyone it seems, including Helena. But he’s certainly having the full LI experience.

Not convinced Dejon and MyMeg will last the series, tbh. The producers won't let them. If not bombshells, they'll find another way.

Totally. And Meg advising 1 of the girls (fell asleep last night, woke up in the middle of the night and watched it, so my memory is even worse than usual 😳) that she needs to tell her man how it is, blah, blah. She really thinks she's playing this so well, snaring and taming the biggest prize prick , and that it's testament to her amazing character that she's getting him to toe the line.

I do hope they show the bit where he says it's only as he doesn't fancy anybody else, but again she will think that's because nobody can compare to her 🙄 Deluded!

She wants h back, but is trying to come across aloof & like she wouldn’t touch him with a bargepole as she doesn’t want to look like a fool…If he went for her, I v highly doubt she would reject him.

I highly doubt Emma is still personally interested in Harry. But she’s only there because the producers think it’s good TV - so perhaps it’s been mooted that as a couple they could win?

I really hope Casa mixes things up a bit. It has felt like ground hog day with lots of contestants with no interest in any kind or relationship.

Casa Irish girl knows that Numbnutts Ben is a ticket to the main villa, so she's cracking on there. Goodness only knows what Harry's ex Emma is up to. Doesn't look like she has any feelings, other than disdain, left for Hairpiece Harry.

I reckon Longjohn Mustard will semi crack on and enjoy all the challenges and opportunities to be "open" without actually sharing a bed, so that he can go back to Muggins Meg with a "clean slate". He thinks he is in with the win now.

Harry and Harrison will be like kids in a sweet shop.

If Tiny Tommy plays the proper gent again, I'll probably puke on my own shoes. I have visions of his Italian Mama poised at home with the Italian equivalent of a wooden spoon, ready to admonish any errant behaviour.

I think it's a shame there wasn't a sweeter type of girl among the Casa lot for Tommy. The blonde Liverpool lass is the youngest so most likely and licked him (ffs) as her most fancied, but she was also super forward with Harrison if memory serves and didn't seem the type Tommy could 'take home to mother'.

I'm not seeing a genuine spark between Tommy and Emily, feels much more like a convenience thing, so I'd like them both to couple up with Casa folk but just not sure any of the women there suit Tommy. They seem older and more likely to go for Harrison, Ben (god help them!), Connor and maybe Giorgio, although even with his 'safe ticket into the house' status, I don't see any of them making a strategic beeline for him.

I was surprised we didn't see more of the DJ (sorry not learnt names yet) as she was the most natural looking beauty and seemed most interesting, thought she might go for Connor, but she seemed to fade away when the louder ones held sway. Maybe that'll change. It's funny who comes to the fore in the moment and often more about confidence than looks or brains.

I have a feeling too... that's why I said earlier that she knows acting like she's not interested will be like a red rag to a bull. He just loves the thrill of the chase, as she well knows.

To be fair the casa boys seem kinda nice.

I doubt she seriously wants to rekindle things with him. She might play with that for the TV drama/producers, as might he, but it's not why a person would go on LI. Harry has been good value for stories this season and what better value than to add his ex into the mix. They can have some to and fro at Casa - she doesn't want him, he does, she waivers, he waivers, it impacts on other connections etc - and they both come out of it more famous and with some fun sunny memories. She's got his number and he knows the game. It may go somewhere but feels like it'd be a surprise to both of them if it intentionally went somewhere genuine.
