So Love Island is now on week 3. Will the arguing and bickering and catfighting continue....... ??? (Probably!) 🙄

The format is inherently faulty, unfortunately - highly intelligent, good looking, professionally successful young men aren’t going to want to be on LI! So those who do apply are likely to be lacking in at least one area - either looks or brain or social skills.

They do occasionally have a woman with some qualification beyond “putting things on instagram” - but equally I can see that for women it’s just a shortcut to a longer term on-screen gig.

Surely Tommy and Emily can’t really be contenders to win as they get zero air time individually, let alone as a couple? What’s that all about? Is it that their interactions are pretty humdrum? Haven’t really seen much beyond a spark between any couples: no snippets of slightly deeper conversations shown, no talking with others about how they are falling for someone…

Bored of the crap Harry and Helena show now. And I’m so glad Toni pulled the plug on Harrison so no more of that hopefully too.

I like Conor and Billykiss as a couple. I wonder if it’ll go anywhere…

Tommy and Emily don't see to have the same natural chemistry and vibe (I hate myself for using that word) as he did with Megan. I hope I am wrong but I don't think he is as into her as he was Megan.

Toni is getting on my last nerve now. All she does is sulk and pout like a child, and whinge and moan. Face like a slapped arse.

Also, does anyone else think Toni doesn't look right in the 'Love Island' type gear? The short revealing skirts, and skimpy tops, and ludicrous shoes? She looks like Bambi on ice when she walks. I feel she seems a bit tomboyish and would suit converse and jeans and a band tee rather than the Love Island look. It doesn't seem to suit her and she looks odd in them. I don't mean to be unkind and she is cute and all, but she is just not giving me Love Island girl vibes.

It does sound difficult.

As someone almost ridiculously private and averse to any but the tamest physical exposure, I do often wonder how the women in the villa manage. I would have hated it, even in my twenties.

I could not do the mixed dorm living, sharing a bed with a stranger. Having to get dressed up and put three tonnes of product on to make sure all the sponsors are happy…..

When travelling in my 20s I always made sure if I was in a dorm it was single sex. And half the time I said fuck the budget and found a cheap single somewhere instead.

I don’t think Toni likes Harrison, she barely talks to him, which he’s repeatedly said to Shakira who he seems to chat to far more.
I think she just finds the graft humiliating and infuriating, as would I and I’m a 2 to their 9. Out of the villa I’d probably like her, inside she’s just frustrating to watch.

I'm a bit behind but I'm so bored of Toni. She is just so sulky.

I think it'll take a lot for D to actually turn from Meg because he's playing the game. He'll flirt with anyone though and call it a test.

Credit to Connor, he's really put himself out there through the whole thing and tried it on with everyone he fancies. He has the best personality of the boys.
I don't mind Helena and don't see how she's that much of a mean girl, I think she's having fun and not taking it too seriously. She's not that into Harrison though, when she's kissed him it's a bit out of pity.

I love Connor, he’s attractive, fun and seems kind too.

I must say this year it’s very telling that after any (private) snog the participants leap apart and can’t wait to get away from each other. It’s so obvious they don’t actually like or feel close to the people they’re snogging.

Also Shakira is daft. The more she pushes Toni to Harrison, the more Helena will go for Harry.

I don’t understand why Helena is saying that Harry said that they will definitely be getting back together. That isn’t what I took from that conversation. 🤔

Bring on casa, I can’t deal with another round of musical chairs with the same situation over and over.
