So Love Island is now on week 3. Will the arguing and bickering and catfighting continue....... ??? (Probably!) 🙄

If the producers are protecting anyone, Toni is definitely up there. If the islanders had to choose who went out of Shakira, toni and Megan, I think it definitely would have been toni. It's not often they let the public decide fully.

I really didn't get the point of Meg's conversation with Toni. It was just full on smirking smugness... I'm not sure how it didn't send Toni over the edge.

I think they edit things to present as much drama as possible! Helena hasn't been portrayed well in the last few episodes, I think she would have looked even worse had it not been for Toni's own stroppy behaviour.

On Aftersun, Megan didn't seem happy about how the triangle between Tommy and Conor was shown as she said a lot of their positive interactions weren't shown.

Tbf though, I think any positive interactions were never going to outweigh the negative ones Megan threw at Tommy. She thrived on the drama (and when she didn't get much from Tommy, tried to ignite it) so she can't very well moan about it being shown!

Meg was full on smug talking to Toni and when herself and Alina were walking over to the three seats on the lawn to have their chat with Toni Meg was banging on about double standards. Oh the irony.

😂 that's true! She was conveniently trying to downplay the rest of her behaviour!

I thought production liked Helena, they rewarded her for getting stuck with Shea in the decoupling by sending her to the sleepover.
Then promptly about faced in this recoupling putting her with Ben for no reason.
So now I think it was Toni they liked all along, getting Helena out the way to allow things to blossom with Harrison and then forcing him to recouple with her when he clearly didn’t want to.

All in all it feels like too much production interference this season and not enough letting them actually form the couples they want.

I do think Harrison and Shakira would be good together and would challenge Tommy and Emily for the win.

Surely we must be due some bombshells in about now?!! None of them (apart from the obvious triangles) are interested in each other. What do we think.. 2 gorgeous men and 2 gorgeous women? I think Alima is showing signs of being into Harrison but he’s too immature for her.

Also I’d love to see Dejon have a bit of fun with the new bombshells. I did like Meg but v much gone off her / Helena and I don’t think we are seeing Dejon being himself.

I have a feeling, as they nicely coupled everyone off last night, that we have a public vote coming up to get rid of at least one couple, maybe two. Then it will be Casa Amor. There are currently too many couples to do Casa so I think we need a bit of a 'clear out'. I have a hunch this is what we are gearing up to towards the end of this week. 🤔

yes good point.. and I wonder who will go. I think it would be a real shame to see Connor and Alima go even though they are a friendship couple. I don’t like Helena and certainly not Ben but she does keep it interesting. I fear for Toni !!

I like Shakira and Alima out of the girls .
Used to like Toni but she is so negative now and looks thoroughly miserable .

Just joining the thread as although I have been watching LI I have not been reading these threads so will go back and read them in a bit . My thoughts are there are few very likeable ones but feel we are getting to know them more now. I think Shakira is the really pretty one that all the men like. She seems quite soft and a nice person too. I saw Connor in a different light last night in the strip task lol. Quite masterful . I think he is the most attractive man in there and I think would be the best match for Shakira. Harry and Helena deserve each other. I can’t see her attractiveness apart from being blonde and tall she seems much older than the rest probably the heavy make up and hair . If anyone was a trans I think it may be her ,something about her is off . I feel bitchy saying that but she isn’t a girls girl is she?

I struggle to get past Connor's missing tooth. It's odd on a show where people have got fake hair, plumped lips and all the trimmings, you'd think he'd have fixed the gap (at the side, not the front, I don't mind a diastema). Maybe others find it refreshing but it's not for me. He also looks like his hair was cut with a knife and fork, but there's a lot of that around at the moment so perhaps it's very cool. I'm no Helena fan and generally prefer curves, but gotta say her bod looks amazing in every bikini she wears. Not a girl's girl though I agree.

lol I hadn’t even noticed a missing tooth! Shows that I need to wear my glasses when watching as I usually am funny about missing teeth especially at the front.

If it’s the side it might have been taken out for orthodontic reasons or playing rugby I guess but yes it’s quite refreshing that he is not obsessed with how he looks . It is so easy to get your teeth fixed after all.

First look is up, 2 bombshells going in with Dejon and Conor and Shakira and Toni being picked for dates. Only saw a brief glimpse at them, the guy Ryan doesn't look like he'll ruffle any feathers, here's hoping he has a great personality!!

I've read a few comments saying that Alima and Ben share an unexpected kiss! Hope that's not true, she can do so much better than him!!

I feel really bad for Shakira, Harry should just do her a favour and move on to Helena. I'm a bit bored of their antics and feel they get too much air time. It's all a bit predictable.
I feel for Toni a little, Harrison was an ego boast for Helena. Toni really likes him, I just wish she'd hold him accountable for his behaviour instead of blaming Helena. I don't really understand what's happened to Toni, when she joined I wouldn't have expected he to tolerate his nonsense. I don't know if maybe she's had trouble connecting with people and it's knocked her confidence?
I can't stand Meg, she's was my favourite at the start but I think she's too bunny boiler for me and I find her reactions abit over the top and cringey. i also can't stand the whole ''my Meg" thing.
I find Tommy and Emily very blah, Ben is an idiot and Alima deserves more area time. Someone said she's hilarious but I don't think I've heard her be funny once? Be good to see more of her character.

Meg was incredibly smug in her conversation with Toni last night. She thinks she is Queen Bee in the villa when in fact she is a hypocrite. All this talk of “my Meg” from Dejon but he will never be “her Dejon”. If she’s not careful, she’s going to end up being one of those girls who accept the crumbs because “he always comes back to me though”.

Why feel bad for Shakira? She chose to go back to Harry after all the Helena Hideaway stuff, and his dalliance with Yasmin, pretty daft of her to expect him to change. She’s in a situation she should have anticipated.

Exactly this. She thinks she's a cut above the others, so she'll be the one who can tame him. She totally fell for his whole spiel about being able to keep him in line... when really she's not been much less of a mug than Helena.

Although they seemed okay for a while and he was behaving much better until the latest gearshift, mostly sparked by the public vote. Even though Harry didn't like Helena cutting him off, he seemed happy enough in his couple till recently. Not that I think Shakira's been under any illusions really, she seems to have her head relatively well screwed on - she knows she's on Love Island and is trying to find a way to make it work. If your standards are too high, you won't ever get with anyone on there as most of the guys have a lot of drawbacks. Look how she even gave Ben a chance until he was truly untenable. I think Harry was at least fun for her to hang out with. I doubt she thought he'd be tamed long-term.

I’m not feeling the male bombshell but I suspect Toni will go for him to prolong her stay and get to Casa

I think my attention's wandering. I don't think any of the couples are convincing, and sulky Toni, incorrigible Harry, nasty Ben etc. are all boring me now.
