So Love Island is now on week 3. Will the arguing and bickering and catfighting continue....... ??? (Probably!) 🙄

Why are they doing everything so early this season? What will they even have left to do for the last half of it, unless there’s something new I can only really think of casa then movie night?

Surely, it is ok for Helena to put it out there? She is single. Any judgement should surely be on man baby Harry? Isn't he the one coupled up?

FWIW, I think Helena is a loon for chasing after Harry. He seems fairly despicable to me, but I'm not clear why she's being judged for it?

It's her attitude towards upsetting the other girls that she's being judged upon I think. No-one is judging her for chatting to the boys but there's ways of going about things more diplomatically/ sensitively.

Think Shakira is too good for Harry so agree that Harry and Helena are well suited 😂

Yeah it's the double-standards - the way Helena can act with impunity e.g. that first hideaway sneak with Harry when he was with Shakira, then with Harrison and so on, and that's all jolly good fun to her and Meg (and Megan before), but they have completely different reactions when there's a whiff of anyone they're with 'exploring connections'. They can literally be laughing about Helena's shenanigans one moment then raging about others' comparable behaviour. I agree that Shakira should and probably will draw the line with Harry as soon as he goes too far, and then of course he'll be with Helena and pining for Shakira and their 'unfinished business'. Though Harry may stay with Helena this time thinking it's safer for staying in till the end. I suspect he'll mistaken, and that if Shakira finds a better guy, she'll be redeemed in the viewers' eyes, especially if Toni has gone. I wonder if Tommy and Shakira might make a decent couple...? Not that I dislike Emily but I don't think there's much natural chemistry there.

Conor seemed to make it clear that he fancies Shakira during the snog, marry, pie challenge! I can't recall seeing them have much interaction 🤔

I don't mind Helena for bringing the drama, but her self-esteem must be on the floor because all she ever does is put other girls down to make herself look better to the guys. She seeks validation from male attention. She had no interest in Harrison, just enjoyed being fancied in the moment and preferred him to Giorgio, so I can see why Toni, who liked Harrison more, was upset. Helena was just bored.

I do think her and Harry are quite suited, though.

If I was Toni, I’d let Harrison crack on. I don’t think Helena would care about him being dumped from the island if it means she can couple up with Harry.

Absolutely. And I think another reason (maybe the main one?) Toni's upset is because he was clearly put in specifically for her, with the US connection, so she knows he might have been her last chance to stay in the villa. Unless a perfect bombshell comes in, he's basically blew it for her.

I have no problem with Helena going after who or what she wants but it’s the hypocrisy. Plus it’s also that I get the feeling that she’s one of those women who thinks all men are fair game whether or not they’re involved and she’d try and get with someone just to see if she can rather than because she really likes someone.

I also think there’s a part of her that wants to win Harry back rather than actually wanting him. I hope a bombshell comes in for Shakira - Harry is definitely not worthy of her.

I think the problem with Meg and Helena is the fact that it’s one rule for them. They behave a certain way but wouldn’t allow that behaviour from anyone else. Meg is sat they’re saying that Harrison can kiss who he likes but she lost her shit any time Dejon even had a flirty conversation with anyone else. Helena had a go at Harry and actually had the audacity to say ‘You’ve done this to me, you’ve done with this Shakira’ Love, YOU did this to Shakira! And now she is behaving the same way. Maybe Shakira and Toni etc have behaved the same but I feel like they’ve been upfront. Obviously Yasmin lied about her kiss with Harry too, which wasn’t okay.

I think it’s grand to play the game, get with everyone if you want, but own what you do and your behaviour. The sneakiness and double standards are not okay. People said they voted Megan off for this yet others are being celebrated for it.

Also if Meg and Dejon win I am never watching the programme ever again.

I hate the heart rate challenge... it's so cringe. Plus they all seem to take it as 100% reliable when half the time their heart rate is raised as they're shitting themselves trying desperately for it not to be raised by the wrong person. Bit like me when I get white coat syndrome when having a BP check at the docs 😳

I doubt the heart rate challenge is accurate, I reckon it's the producers deciding who to choose with the hope of more drama.
