What TV or film moments are so gross or painful that you can never watch again🤢
Mine are
On little Britain, where David Walliams plays the Bitty man or the gerontophile who pervs over his friends grandma.
The Smoochy kiss episode of Bluey. Where Bingo makes a horrid concoction and Bandit eats it. Then vomits in the garden 🤮🤢. I can not watch that.
When Alan Partridge puts his foot through the spike when climbing the fence.
The plastic bag shit scene on the Borat film.
The bit on Brothers Grimsby when he is about to give his girlfriend cunnilingus after she both queefs and farts.
The bit on Mall Cop 2, when that old guy is eating the black banana. Even bananas going brown give me the ick

All of Liar Liar. Jim Carrey having to act with that awful kid

Any scene where La Knightly wrinkles her cute little nose to show how adorable and ditsy she is; or any other scene where her gob is hanging open like a goldfish.

That bit in Four Weddings when Andi McDowell says something “we can skulk together in my room…” to Hugh Grant. She looked like his mother and was totally miscast but the way she says ‘skulk’ makes me majorly cringe.

THere's a film called Nocturnal Animals which I don't want to actually spoil for anyone, but don't watch it. The ending is just about the most spoilt, whinging, man child scenario you could possible imagine. It's appalling.

I love that film and have watched it a million times, but you’re right it is dodgy. 😬

I actually couldn't watch it, I got so far as the car scene and thought the whole premise was just horrible: man writes a novel with his ex in it and hypothetical daughter and punishes her by writing horrible stuff happening to her and daughter. Grim.

I have watched Love Actually, but must have completely blanked it out.

I watched a show called Beyond with dd1 (older teen), a kind of fantasy NDE thing. At one point, in the real world, the main character is badly shot and ends up having sexual on the sink with his love interest. Beyond implausible and just ick.

And , ‘Oh, I look quite pretty.’

I thought it was a great film. Was many years ago now though.

Any movie/TV show where the woman has flash backs to her dead father but calls him "daddy" in a baby voice 🤢 directors - WHY

Entirely agree - lots of abuse and unpleasant sexism dressed up in a glossy romance wrapper. Its horrible and Emma Thompson is the only good thing about it - her scenes are genuinely touching and sad.

It was a great idea for a film. I’ve often had that feeling at an airport waiting for the family member or friend to appear through the doors and wondered about all the other people and their stories. It could have been so much better.

Any time Marshall in How I Met your Mother eats something

I don't know why. I don't have an issue with seeing anyone else eat, I also don't have a problem with Marshall. I have even seen the same actor eat something in another film and not had an issue.

However, any time he eats in that show I shudder involuntarily and I just don't know why.
