Is anyone else watching this? I'm really enjoying it. So much of it resonates, the people who are on it are so brave sharing their stories and opening up on tv. It's very sensitively done.

I've seen the first two episodes. I am aware of two of the therapists - Owen and Julia - and follow them on the socials. They're both really impressive

I am a bit concerned that people might get the impression from the program that therapy is going to sort out your problems in 2-3 sessions. I would have preferred if we saw the same group of clients all through the 4 episodes and saw a more indepth process with each of them, rather than new faces every week.

I’m sure it said in the last episode (it was only very short) that they had six sessions. But for tv it was compressed to look like three. Get what you mean.

I have found them very interesting and thought it was very sensitively done. I really hope they’ll be a series 2.

Yes, I thought it was just three sessions, it’s not clear it’s 6. I have thought a lot about the woman holding the cushion that represented her pain and how she just wanted to love it. Really powerful stuff. Do you think people who have not had therapy will also like it?

I really enjoyed it but am still very cynical about the impact of the filming (however discreet) on the authenticity of the therapeutic process I mean how vulnerable could one really be in a session if you knew you were being filmed? It must impact, surely?

I think it’s a great programme and Emma seems very interested in everyone and wants to help too.
The actual therapists are lovely , but I can imagine you’d need a lot of therapy for these problems, but focusing on a number of people means we only see a brief snap shot of what goes on.
