Even DH thought the commentary was very biased

I didn’t get chance to watch the presentation - my TV was about to turn itself off and DH said that he’d been watching that match all of his life (although the footy had been on for a while before!)

I’m sure that Jack will have a chance to win more in the future - he’s had a good week on clay. It was good to see Casper have a good win as well - hopefully he’s getting his form back after a tough year

It might not be a bad draw for Jacob- (despite it being Foggy's 'home' turf)- Foggy is not the player he was, he's been playing Challengers (and not doing that well in those) so Jacob has nothing to lose, really.

Yes, maybe. At least Jacob will be used to partisan crowds from his college team days. But Foggy may be inspired! (When is he going to retire?)

I do wonder about Foggy- surely he doesn't need the money? (although he's probably paid out a fair amount in fines over the years ). He must want to keep playing, to have dropped to the challangers.

So, they've just said this will be Foggy's last time playing in Rome, so he must be planning on retiring over the next year (but players have done odd things before!).

They've had rain in Rome, and a bit of a delay. Apparently there are plans for a roof on the main court by next year. Not Pietrangeli (the one with all the statues) - that wouldn't work at all- just get the statues some brollies.
