Soap writers are in the habit of using before unmentioned friends who very conveniently offer a home and job to characters needing to be culled. Such lazy writing.

Gail won't be missed though. She was a decent enough person but will be forgotten about by next week. Ryan's attempt at acting was awful. He's a pointless character.

Maungy or Morngy means sulky or peevish. I was born in Yorkshire and morngy was a word which was used a lot for sulky kids.

After the vile and threatening way Joe spoke to Clemmie I hope he’s made to suffer. Hopefully there’s a vacant barn waiting for him. I wished all that for Tom and I felt cheated when it didn’t happen. So, I reckon the scriptwriters owe us some proper comeuppance for Joe.
