I did think AdM would sneak it.

I didn’t see any of the men but I did watch the end of Sony Kartal’s BJK Cup match earlier. A wobble in the second set but a great third. Down to the doubles now though as Katie lost her singles - but a good start in the doubles.

GB have just won the doubles!

Thanks for the new thread. I had to go out so was just score watching the second match, but am delighted Raah’s prediction came true. It seemed like a really topsy turvy match, Lore certainly loves to come back from behind. Looking forward to the final tomorrow.

I didn’t get to see much of the ADM/Lorenzo match but really pleased that Lorenzo won (I’ve also not got anything against ADM - I just can’t get very excited about him - poor Alex)

Hopefully the final will be a good one - my phone is telling me it starts at 11am which seems very early but I hope that’s right as I’m out in the afternoon

Fizzy That is early! I hadn't checked, kind of assumed the singles and doubles would be flipped, time wise , to be honest.

The weather forecast for MC today was not good, rain most of the day apparently, so they prioritised the singles in the dry window.

That makes sense- I do remember them saying earlier in the week that the weather looked iffy for today (and then the rain yesterday caught them out a bit).

So far, this is exactly the final I wanted (not to bothered who wins, though would probably like Lorenzo to).

At least they only did the one anthem, and no ott warbly singing (like at US tournaments). So it wasn't too bad.
