I can't think of a decent title

There is currently a huge backlash against the show again, because of Paul’s behaviour.

I know the producers like to manufacture drama, but I doubt they’d manufacture this kind of drama, knowing it could bring such bad press and get the show pulled.

Well in that case, I won’t bother to do the future threads and you can do them, seeing as how my titles have been so awful for you

I'm not surprised. There's something self-righteously performative about the ixperts pulling Paul up for his behaviour and potentially ejecting him for the experiment but only doing it days after the event and filming it all.

If they're serious about having a duty of care towards Carina, surely they should intervene at the earliest opportunity.

I thought Corina was in shock, Paul's excuses weren't taking responsibility and I find it very hard to believe that his loss of control was a once off.

It was embarrassing listening to Paul try to excuse himself. There are simply no excuses good enough for that shit. I know a few of us have posted about exes who have not been able to control their tempers and it is never ever a good sign. I wish he would stop crying as well. That adds insult to injury. Another thing that ex-H would do to illicit sympathy for his own stinking behaviour.

Also, I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooove the funny thread titles. It is part of the fun and about a show, which is mostly daft too.

It’s happened so many times now, where a male cast member has demonstrated abusive behaviour. The show gets backlash and the ixperts start getting ‘tougher’ each season, to show the public that ‘they’re dealing with it’ 🙄

A lot of this behaviour probably wouldn’t happen if they did better research on their contestants in the first place.

Because Paul has turned on the tears and made himself look ‘remorseful’ they’ll probably allow him to stay 🙄

Well apparently my titles sound like they come from Tattle to @Oioisavaloy27, so they now have the job of creating the next thread when this one runs out! 😜

Obviously Paul’s behaviour was really bad, but if I was out with friends and my husband had commented that he’d shagged a singer whose song we were listening to, I’d be really angry. I wouldn’t punch anything though.

WTF? Why?
His past is the past. All that was said was simple fact. No emotion, no comparison, no hint of regret or disrespect. People getting angry about things that don't have any impact on their lives is so destructive and damaging. I wish there was more focus on developing emotional intelligence as academic attainment.

I do get that some people would get cross. I also think that we don't really know what went on. Won't unless we see the damage. He did say he punched something rather than slammed, stormed out etc. More than anything it's made me think I don't trust the progs authenticity.

Don't understand why Paul isn't booted straight off the show? They got rid of Brad a couple of years ago and I don't think his abuse had actually got physical at that point iirc?
