Feel a bit sorry for Holly Willoughby, her life has done a firm one 180 in the past few years

But I haven't watched this show since Gemma Collins was on it 😬

It's all a colossal pile of crap isn't it? Loose women, the One Show, something I saw today with cooking and anodyne interviews.

I used to love it, was pretty much my favourite show.

Not sure what changed but there was something about the camera work of more recent years I hated - constantly cutting away from the skaters to see happy faces in the audience/judges and camera spinning around all over the place made me feel seasick and I gave up with it. Also, far too much talking and not enough skating.

Won't be sad to see it go, I think its had its time.

Lilah and Lewis are Ice Dancers not figure skaters (the same as Torvill and Dean) .

I watched about 5 minutes once. Too stressful as there were so many chances of a nasty injury for those taking part.

I've never properly watched it, every now and then we'll be flicking channels and it's on but we invariably turn over again after 5 mins. Whereas I love Strictly.

I disagree with the 'Torvill and Dean are boring' sentiment. They've given their whole lives to skating and had a very exciting career; I bet the people calling them boring haven't had a 10th of the experiences they have.

Same! Strictly is the only reality type thing I watch. Oh and The Masked Singer but I'm not sure if that counts 🤔.

I never understand how The Apprentice keeps being made. Once you've seen one you've seen them all and surely Alan Sugar doesn't need any more business partners.

Ah ok. The poster indicated it was a figure skating couple - not ice dancers! I have to now watch them win 🏆😄

The ice dancers are fantastic too of course but the figure skating is mesmerising.

Apparently Holly had a reputation at This Morning for not being easy to work with and being something of a mean girl. The smiley ditzy thing is said by some to be a utter facade and she has been described as being quiet ruthless. Also there is no way in hell she didn't know what Schofield was up to and turned a blind eye when it suited.

I genuinely can’t remember what the advert was for, but it was genuinely dodgy. I wondered if it was because we were watching on itv1. There was a joke about a ‘golden shower’ in the show too though and it just didn’t feel like a family vibe.

A shame to see it go but the show isn’t the same as what it used to be and doesn’t have the same spark that Strictly has.

The last few series since COVID have been awful. The standard of celebrities haven’t been the best compared to the past like Ray Quinn and Hayley Tamaddon and Chris Fountain.

The judges whilst they have good chemistry, it’s a panel of 4 people that have the same / similar opinion. Jason Gardiner was an integral part of the show. Jayne and Chris should have stayed in the previous roles as mentors. Robin Cousins, Karen Barber, Jason Gardiner and Nicky Slater would have been the ideal panel.

I think a lot of people stopped watching when Schofield left.

Definitely agree that she knew that schofield had that boyfriend - Joan Collins' reaction said it all 'well, why did he come out, it was an open secret'

So sad that she was ruthless behind the scenes, but I guess that's the industry
