MC is one of the few tournaments that seem to start and finish early in the day which is normally a good thing but means that I don’t get to watch much - whenever I can watch the matches seem to have already finished

Carlos is struggling a bit against Fils- he's 0-3 down. Another case of 2 players who have never played each other before. I do find that quite amazing, giving how often Fils has been in the latter stages of tournaments the past year or so You would have thought their paths would have crossed before.

It is odd- because I know Madrid and Rome have similar ish timings- but often have matches into the evening.

Maybe it's the weather?

Carlos is starting to settle a bit now.

I’m not surprised to see Arthur coming out strongly, he’s been playing incredibly well since the sunshine double and Carlos seems to be having issues with his serve.

It's pretty shocking in a way that this is the first year Carlos has won matches at MC. But he's had periods of injury/withdrawals at this time.
