Arthur’s been given the day session tomorrow, that’s a bit mean. I’m sure it’s just because the tournament organisers want an American player in the evening.

Maybe a few more people will turn up to watch. I don’t understand how they can afford to run a tournament with such poor attendance.

It’s weird isn’t it, and Indian Wells is the same. I think they charge too much for the tickets. If they charged less and filled the stadium they’d probably make more money.

I thought Grigor would keel over when I was watching him play Jaren- and that was early on. I'm glad he won, but it's all taking a lot of effort.

I know there have been weather issues, but the schedule is odd, and some players had loads of recovery time , and others - very little.

Poor Grigor. That doesn't sound good. I wonder if he will play his next match?- which would be against either Korda or Djok?most likely Djok since Seb isn't really fit either. This tournament is going really well for him...

It sounds as if the humidity levels were really high and a lot of players were suffering - Emma R wasn’t feeling well either - I’m not sure how they manage to play in those conditions

I’ve managed to get Wimbledon tickets through the LTA resales - they’re only for Court No 3 but on the first Wednesday so hopefully will get to see a few good matches (weather permitting) - if it rains I’ll just drink overpriced Pimms on Henman Hill and wave to the TV camera

Why do they insist on talking about Emma at all the time - I know she won a Grand Slam, which is amazing, but I wish they would stop building her up so much (she did lose her match)

Oh now they’ve stopped talking and actually bothered to put a live match on! Hope that Arthur’s back is no longer fucked - it’s a quick turnaround for him

I’ve also managed to get tickets through the LTA resales. I’ve got Court No 1 on women’s finals day. Can’t remember what’s on Court 1 that day - doubles and wheelchair matches I think? Will be good to see those and hopefully the women’s final from Henman Hill if the weather’s nice.

Yes the email surprised me too. No centre court tickets left when I looked. I’m glad I was able to get a Saturday because it means DD can come with me again (she’s in year 10 now so doing GCSEs and I had said I wasn’t going to take her out of school this year for it if I was lucky enough to get tickets).
