Looks like play restarting shortly. Apparently Sascha’s match against Arthur has been postponed to tomorrow and Matteo and Alex’s match has been moved to a different court, as has Jasmine’s.

Pleased to see wins for Jasmine and Matteo.

I was falling asleep, so didn't wait for the Rainy to stop. Not really surprised Casper didn't make a miraculous comeback though. He has a big mountain to climb come once the clay season starts or he faces a huge rankings drop- since he was a finalist in MC, won Barca and made the semis at RG.

Very happy for Jasmine and Matteo. Shame Lorenzo couldn't put up much competition.

I think Seb Korda plays Djok next. Someone needs to beat him.
Djok apparently had a row about the shot clock. It's all automated now. Fergus has explained that, ad nauseum.
I hate the shot clock anyway.

I saw the end of Matteo’s match because DH went out late and forgot his keys Matteo broke at 5-5 and then there was a never ending service game where he tried and failed to serve it out. Then he had to come from behind in the tiebreak when Alex had multiple set points. Matteo looked exhausted and was totally drenched in sweat, I doubt he would have won if it had gone to a third set. Still, we’ll take it.

Seb has a wrist injury unfortunately - he was treated for it during the match with Gael and has now withdrawn from the doubles. I doubt he’s beating Djok but hopefully someone will!

Grigor hasn't beaten Djok in over 12(?) years, and Matteo only recently. Fritz has never beaten him. I think he's only played (and beaten) Francisco , once. Ditto Mensik.

He's never played Fils- sometimes big names come unstuck when they play newer players for the first time.

The only realistic chance of someone taking him out is possibly Sascha in the final. But we can hope for an earlier miracle. .

Chessie it's a hard one, isn't it? Don't want Seb to get any more injured, but don't want Djok to get any more advantages.

Yeah it’s grim really, most of the players left in the draw are big servers, who Djok has always been excellent against. I’m hoping one of the young guys can come through.
