It felt like such a waste of a win! Or worse, when they beat him, and were injured in the next round- and didn't play at all!

Glad to see Ugo Carabelli at least pushed for a tie break in his second set against the Green Goblin.

Pleased to see Emma got through, although her opponent was clearly struggling. Next round will be tougher!

I was score watching Cerundolo in the early hours, and was very glad to see he beat Tommy Paul. That's a bonus.

Today's order of play looks interesting. The Fonseca match is 'not before 7' - not sure if they have an day/evening sessions in Miami, or if it runs through- but surely the Brazlian fans won't sit through the whole programme again before his match. Or maybe they will .

I don’t know Raahh, those Brazilian fans are pretty passionate. Imagine what they’re going to be like if Joao lives up to the hype and becomes a top player? It will be interesting to see how he will go against AdM, his play style can be very frustrating.

I was also happy that Fran beat TP, he’s quietly having a really good season. Matteo is also going well and has a relatively kind draw, he’ll be playing Zizou Bergs this evening.

Zizou was very emotional after his match because it was the third anniversary of his grandad’s death.

I haven’t seen much of Joao at all.

Watching Osaka/Paolini. Naomi seems a lot more confident than she was last year. I like her dress- reminds me of a daffodil .

Naomi took the first set, Jasmine has the break in the second. I do like Jasmine.

I saw a bit of the match- and I swear there was commentary before,and isn't now. .

I also like Naomi’s dress - much nicer than some of her recent efforts! And Jasmine also in yellow - nice and bright and cheery. Nice shades of yellow too - not like that horrible mustardy colour loads of them were wearing a couple of years ago. This is another match where I would like them both to win!

It’s looking like the end of the road for Coleman Wong. On the bright side,Tomas Machac is beating Reilly Opelka.

This is the first time Jasmine and Naomi have met, I think . Seems to taking Jasmine a while to adjust to Naomi's game. Couple of wobbles in the last game.

Certain shades of yellow look really good on the players- others, not so much. Didn't like the strange outfit combination Aryna wore in AO, for example.
