Been lovely watching the old duff on bbc 4 this week and all the old cast popping in for cameos

It must be really hard to film scenes months ago and then have to come back and get into the same frame of mind again. Especially for James Bye, he's obviously not been on set for a while, but he's had to come in, get into character and continue from whenever he last filmed, and do it live.

I thought at one point Bianca, Lauren and Sonia were trying not to laugh

I thought they were going to throw a curve ball with Denise going to see Jack, I thought she was going to tell him it was over and then fall into Ravi’s arms! Outstanding performances by everyone but Bianca, Lauren and Sonia stole the show for me, they were all brilliant and the throwing of the knickers was so funny! The emotional stuff between Stacey and Martin went on for too long I think but apart from that well done everyone.

Where’s Michelle these days? I know in real life Sue Tully is a director so I was kind of hoping they’d get her to direct this episode. I’ve conveniently forgotten they tried to replace her with some imposter.

I confess, I’ve only really come back for this week’s 40th celebrations and the stuff with Fiw, his breakdown, and the flashbacks. I wasn’t expecting the cameos but they’ve been lovely.

Got very involved tonight. The Stacey/Martin scenes were a tad overlong but I was gutted they killed him off. Lacey Turner was brilliant as per.

Looked like Kat corpsed a bit in the cafe when they all put their heads down for a prayer and Alfie dug her in the ribs. I honestly thought she was going to burst out laughing.
