The men aren't peddling products based on the looks industry. She is. So it's fair to say that that face isn't all make up, it's surgery and not good surgery at that. She started her career sneering at women on the TV. What goes around comes around.

Edited

She was indeed sneery about other women. She's also made her fortune selling skincare and makeup. It's very hard to take someone with that background seriously who's then decided to have shed loads of work done do her face to avoid looking her age (60) at any costs.

Of course people can choose to do what they want to their own face / body. Personally I find it quite sad that ageing naturally is seen as a negative thing. Doing a few minor things to help the ageing process be more "graceful" is one thing. Being in complete denial about being an older women is quite another.

I have adored Madonna's looks through the decades. Now she looks like a sex shop mannequin. Awful.

A lot of the people posting on here don’t actually know much about Trinny Woodall. The comments are based on dim memories of a tv programme decades ago or DM headlines.

She started her business with her own money and has become a multimillionaire. She did not use Saatchi’s money and she left him a long time ago.

She does not pretend that she does not have Botox and fillers. She is very open about it. She does not claim that her products can mimic the effects of tweakments.

She was indeed rude to women in her programme decades ago but she is nothing like that now on social media. She is kind and supportive of all kinds of women whatever their age, size etc.

I have no connection to her at all. I wouldn’t even say I was a fan and yes I think the fillers are a bit extreme. But much of the other stuff people are saying about her here just isn’t true.

I work with a number of people in the public eye. Honestly almost every single woman who is publicly visible has had work done. That includes Kate Winslet, Kate Middleton etc. basically everyone. It is incredibly common. We notice the extreme examples (Trinny is going that way) but it is very naive to insist that you prefer well known women who don’t have work done. Because there aren’t any.

She absolutely did. Not just his money but also his guidance and expertise in marketing. You will see similarities if you look in Nigella’s and Trinny’s approach. Speaking directly to their audience, from their own homes, letting fans think they are getting a glimpse into their lives etc. It’s the Saatchi strategy that works and is now copied widely.

A quick look on Companies House shows that Saatchi is a founding shareholder of Trinny London and remains a shareholder even after the Unilever investment.

Not taking anything away from Trinny, she clearly works damned hard. I don’t think a day goes by where she is not creating content or darting around promoting her business.

beguilingeyes · 01/02/2025 19:08

"So, Trinny. What attracted you to billionaire Charles Saatchi?".
Especially after he was photographed with his hands around Nigella's throat.

gatheryerosebuds · 01/02/2025 19:16

Haven't seen Dragon's Den, but I sometimes watch her on Instagram and she is refreshingly honest and films herself just out of bed with no makeup etc.
I think she looks great for 60 and also has a fun attitude.

There's always one person who comes on a thread saying "i work with people in the public eye/celebrities" when trying to justify their point.

I regret posting here as I thought Trinny was actually good on DD. She was charming, regardless of face.

She's obviously had work done but I don't think she looks terrible. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She was a big proponent of tweakments in the later WNTW books so I'm not surprised.

Thedownsideisup · 01/02/2025 19:28

She looks great on her own insta and adverts. She definitely did NOT on Dragon's Den.

There's always one person who comes on a thread saying "i work with people in the public eye/celebrities" when trying to justify their point.

And there's always someone who says every woman in the public eye has had plastic surgery. Not true - and you don't exactly have to go far to find one, as Deborah Meaden is a great example www.express.co.uk/life-style/life/981270/dragons-den-deborah-meaden-ageing

ARainyNightInSoho · 01/02/2025 19:34

@Thedownsideisup I didn’t say everybody has plastic surgery. In fact I didn’t even mention plastic surgery as I don’t think it is very common.

Fine - you said "had work done" which isn't a very clear phrasing but anyway my point still stands. Deborah Meaden has not "had work done" and I think she looks great.

Gab123456 · 14/09/2025 20:16

So awful! Those lips actually distract from watching or listening to her on DD
