Ok I have just discovered Motherland!!! I'm a bit behind the times. But it's good! I was cracked up with Julia the mum on a manic drive with her kids to school in the first episode. That is so me taking the kids to school in the morning. I only started it thurs evening and almost finished the first series. I like Sharon Horgan's writing.

There's a shop similar to the one Amanda opened in the show near me and every time I walk past it I can't help thinking "shit shop".

Hi all I have just finished all 3 series! The last Christmas special was sad with Julia’s mum dying - but by the end they all looked like they had a genuine friendship and were there for each other!

kevin is also a gem of a character. I think I liked him the most.

Loving Amandaland despite my initial reluctance - I'm surprised how little I'm missing Kevin and Liz! Would like S2 of Amandaland to have a visitor/interaction from the OG motherland cast
