The Traitors series 3 UK finale airs at 8:30pm on Friday 24th January, BBC1. Followed by a 45 minute episode of U cloaked.

Charlotte has a secret to reveal to Frankie... what will Frankie do with this information? Will she herself become collateral damage?

Genuinely I don't understand people who make comments about whether a traitor is playing the game "with integrity" etc. It's literally a game where the object is to win and the only way to do that as a traitor is to cheat and lie! It's the actual game! It's like playing snap but don't say snap too fast in case it upsets someone...

I don't either. I also don't care if they are nice. Otherwise Mollie should have won, being nice and all.

Snowmanscarf · 24/01/2025 15:37

I agree @xsquared. She’s very much been a sheep at the Round Table, and the only time she’s spoken is to defend herself.

She-self has definitely flown under the radar, and seems to be the only one that people think is definitely a faithful. I guess she’s quite passive in there.

witchycat2 · 24/01/2025 15:38

I don't think the seer has to reveal their status (or do they?)

OP posts:
Phthia · 24/01/2025 15:44

They know who the seer is, Claudia announced it to them.

Edit: just realised you're probably referring to Charlotte's status. In which case, ignore me.

I guess if you decline to reveal your identity, then you're most definitely a traitor!

Lazarusc · 24/01/2025 15:47

I'm still catching up with yesterday's thread and place marking on this one now. Planning to finish work early and will catch up with this one shortly!

Hard agree!

Again, though, why don't any of them seem to consider the fact that Freddie could have been recruited and was probably a faithful all along until very recently (ie. the night before!) and that their hunches and "feelings" were meaningless and not indicative of being a clever traitor hunter.

Leanne is going to get some of this prize money and that's a shame as she has been shown to be an aggressive and reactive individual, not a team player at all, hypocritical in the extreme and with an intensely annoying hair fiddling habit! So this makes me feel unexcited about the final and like the end of this series will be a damp squib for me.

Agree about Freddie. The fact that he proved to be such a stonkingly bad liar should surely have been a clue that there is simply no way he could have kept up the deception if he'd been a traitor from the start.

Snowmanscarf · 24/01/2025 13:40

if Charlotte is vanished, then there’s no more traitors. Does the game continue only with faithfuls (although they don’t know that)?

Yes untill they decide that they want to end it because they think there are no traitors left.
Don't forget this year even if they banish Charlotte they won't know she was a traitor and can't be sure there are no others

samarrange · 24/01/2025 15:49

The BBC website has a quiz to see how good you would be on the game. I would apparently be an OK traitor but a rubbish faithful. Anyway, I particularly enjoyed this item (pic), especially the third response. It seems I'm not the only one who has picked up on "click". Sadly, none of the questions or answers involved murdering people because they use "yourself" incorrectly.

No Frankie as seer doesn't have to tell Charlotte her status. Claudia said something about using an envelope so I am not sure Charlotte and Frankie will even speak to each other.

I think Charlotte will hand Frankie an envelope with a card inside saying she is a traitor. She might even leave before Frankie opens it (although that would be dull!)

Turkeyhen · 24/01/2025 15:54

Frankie was holding an envelope with Charlotte's name on it while she was waiting for Charlotte to join her at the Seer's table.

APushbikeNamedReluctance · 24/01/2025 09:58

Poor old Leanne got herself into knots over Alexander explaining how she could be a traitor and be pretending the traitors had tried to murder her to frame Freddie and him. I liked how she said something along the lines of how dare he say that, she knows she's not a traitor.

Also appreciated Charlotte's irony at getting annoyed at Freddie because "i dint like being double crossed".

I'd love a body language expert and a psychologist to comment on them all. Why does Alexander sit hunched up and wide eyed.! What does Leanne's endless hair stroking mean!?

Hair stroking, I believe, can sometimes be a diversion of a subconscious hand movement that would otherwise involve aggression towards the other person? I read some book by Desmond Morris years ago. You feel threatened, feel the urge to punch someone and suppress that urge, but subconsciously raise your arm(s) and stroke your own hair or touch your face instead.

As for being wide-eyed and hunched up, that could be making yourself as un-threatening as possible, maybe?

ps - love the username by the way.

xsquared · 24/01/2025 15:58

Charlotte touched her face a lot last night!

I disagree and would use the example (already mentioned by PPs) of Wilf in S1 who, right at the very end, swore on his children’s lives he was not a Traitor. I think this crosses a line, but maybe it’s just me.

I don’t like Charlotte, but I do like plenty of other female contestants though.

Phthia · 24/01/2025 16:08

xsquared · 24/01/2025 10:27

She would be incredibly stupid to think that Alexandar only helped her get the seer power because he's a traitor!
A traitor will want to prevent anybody else getting it, as they don't want to be selected.

Edited

Not necessarily. A traitor will certainly want the seer power for themselves, but if they can see they can't possibly get it - which was the position with Alexander - then the next best thing must be to stack the odds in favour of the person you are most likely to be able to influence.

Drdoing · 24/01/2025 16:08

@CityofOliveBranch well sure, there are lines but I don't think Charlotte has come near to crossing anything like the lines Wilf crossed.

Well, neither Fteddie nor Charlotte thought of that and Charlotte had no hope of getting it.

Thanks for the new thread @witchycat2

I'm still recovering from Freddie's floundering attempt to save himself last night.
With all the misspellings of names on the slate throughout the show, if I was Freddie, I would've been tempted to say "I'm voting for yourself, Charlotte" then turn my slate which reads 'CHARTRAITOR' then do an Alexander and say "Oh, no, have I mispelt your name..." 😏

I think there's all sorts of draconian rules against any banished traitors giving hints about the others after S1. I think they've made it clear they're even prepared to junk the whole series if that happens.

CityofOliveBranch · 24/01/2025 16:14

@Drdoing I do agree with you there - Charlotte not as bad as Wilf!

xsquared · 24/01/2025 16:22

Also, how would it help since Frankie is a faithful and will want to banish a traitor to win any money at all. Did I miss the bit that players remaining whether faithful or traitor can split the money? I thought if a traitor remains even if then faithful get nothing?

Who knows, maybe she will wear a tango coloured tracksuit and manspread on Uncloaked tonight 😂

About the seer meeting. I’m sure that Claudia said that they both get given a letter with each others status on it, then they have to burn the letter.

NooNakedJacuzziness · 24/01/2025 16:26

This is the first series I've seen - at the end do they all get back together to discuss who voted for who and when and why etc? And I missed why Charlotte has to pretend to be Welsh - why is that? Sorry if it's been asked loads of times before!

Of any traitors are left at the very end they take all the money. If it's just faithfuls left they split the money between them.

Uncloaked will be on when it finishes tonight with interviews with all the final players.

Charlotte pretended to be welsh because she thought it would make her seem more trustworthy
