Dan looked like he's being taken back to the stables at a racing meet. What's with the fake grass?

Didn’t see any of the match but sad for Dan. Things really haven’t been going his way for the last year. I hope he can turn things around a bit.

Unfortunately, I think it's time Dan called it a day. He lost in a Challenger in Glasgow last week to some unknown and is 178 in the world, I think, and he's not getting any younger. It was only 18 months ago he won the biggest title of his career and was ranked 21. Then he got injured when winning a match against Tiafoe, had to default, and apart from a couple of great wins with Andy in the Olympic doubles, has hardly won another match! Poor Dan!

No, things have been on a downward slide for a while for Dan, and maybe his heart isn't in it as much.

Poor Dan - I remember the halcyon Brummie Borg days when he had a suite at the US Open (in covid times)

Obviously Dan had a couple of wins at the US Open last year, including that fantastic comeback vs Khachanov, but I'm not sure he's won since on the main tour? And he won't be given wildcards à la Stan, apart from the British grass court season, I'm guessing.

I was wondering where Marin was ranked these days- and he's ranked below Rafa at the moment (a win here will send him up quite a few spots though).- Rafa bizarrely went up 2 spots this week because of how the rankings are calculated. .
