Well done Miomir. I missed the end, but I'm not that surprised ADF lost either (though very sad for him). At least the 3rd set was more competitive.

Doha and Rio this week, and the women are in Dubai. I get my Doha/Abu Dhabis and Dubais mixed up, so can never remember who has already played where, so I this time of year confuses me a bit .

DD2 has a half term holiday, so I have helpfully filled it with various appointments that mean I will hardly be in. I am an idiot.

Me too Raahh, I can’t keep my Dohas and my Dubais and my Abu Dhabis straight. I’m sure I couldn’t point to any of them on a map I think my confusion is multiplied by the fact that the women and men are playing in the same places at different times.

That's the problem, Ice- if they were there at the same time , it would help- but I keep thinking 'haven't they already played there' and realise it was the men/women. .

I've turned on just in time to see Carlos serving for the match against Marin. Not seen him around much .

I saw a little of that match Raahh. Marin was playing well, it’s unfortunate for him that he was drawn against Carlos in the first round. The draw for Doha is certainly interesting, all the local wild cards got drawn against qualifiers in R1 while a bunch of higher ranked players have to play each other. Of course it could happen by chance, but it feels a bit fishy. Matteo has to play Djok this afternoon, boo. Looks like Daniil will scrape his way through after an early scare against Karen.

Not had chance to watch much tennis lately but today I went on a tour of the Wimbledon grounds and went in the museum. Got to see Rafa’s trainers and outfit!

Ice I thought the draw was a bit suspect. Nor happy about Djok playing Matteo. I saw he won his doubles matchcwith Verdasco ( who is retiring after this tournament).

That's sounds fun, Chessie- I wonder if they febreeze the outfits/trianers first before they put them on display. Match-fresh would whiff a bit .

Matteo/ Djok is just starting (I've been out, so that was good timing- although I don't really want to watch Djok tbh).

I haven't* *seen any tennis but it would be fantastic if Matteo beat Djok. Not happy that Andy is continuing his coaching arrangement with him. What is he thinking!!

DS has won an LTA competition for a year's subscription to The Tennis Channel, although he doesn't think there's much on it

Wow well done Matteo! I was hoping to watch the match but my Sky was just showing a one sided women's match and now Emma Radacanu

I think I may need to invest in more sky channels (although I'm not sure how much longer they will have the tennis for!)

I only enjoy watching Djok if he loses and Matteo would have been an added bonus

The Wimbledon museum looks interesting Chessie - at the Rafa museum his kit still had the clay stains on them but they were under glass so hopefully any lingering smells were kept in check

I had to hunt the match down on Sky- it wasn't on the usual channel.

Matteo also helpfully stripped off at the end, which is always nice.

Didn't bother to check if Djok did the same

The Italians never disappoint.

I see Raducanu lost. No surprise there really. I am glad I didn't watch it, the commentators probably had her lifting the trophy, since she's managed to win a match.
