I’m looking for recommendations of programmes to watch with my 14 year old daughter, extra points for strong female characters and positive messages for teens.

My Lady Jane on Prime, excellent, similar vibe to the Enola Holmes movies. Gutted they haven't renewed for series 2.

Brooklyn 99 is great for “female leads” in that it has plenty of female characters, all v different and not cookie cutter sitcom women personalities. So good in lots of other ways too.

dd 14 and i watched gilmore girls and it's sort've a guilty pleasure at this point bc of how much we criticise their decisions 😆 we love everything about stars hollow tho x
