Anyone else watched it?

I found it an emotional watch.

I loved him to much to watch it. 😪

GetyourheadoutoftheovenIris · 03/01/2025 05:42

It was really well done. I loved that it was directed by his son, it was very personal.

I feel like I didn’t fully know what he did after the accident and definitely hadn’t realised just how amazing the whole family were/are.

What channel etc was this on please?

Borntobeamum · 03/01/2025 16:58

I thought it was excellent. Told from various family members and friends points of view and so very sad that his wife passed away too.

SabreIsMyFave · 03/01/2025 17:00

Where can we watch this?

Pemba · 03/01/2025 18:30

It would be nice if posters could routinely mention which platform that a programme or film they are talking about is on. There are endless channels and streaming services nowadays.

Pemba · 03/01/2025 18:35

So I googled, and it appears to be on Sky/Now TV.

tothelefttotheleft · 03/01/2025 19:11

I watched it with my Now Tv but it was on a sky channel.

I like that it was very honest. Talked about his flaws.

I also like that they briefly touched on wealth inequalities difference in care available.

I wish there'd been more about his wife's cancer and treatment.

I saw this at the cinema. Couldn't stop crying during the Robin Williams scenes, and when I saw his dog on its own at the end 😭

I saw it a few weeks ago and found it so touching. I didn't realise how much movement he had regained before he died. I love his Superman movies and Somewhere in Time, and think he could have made some more great choices.

JadeSeahorse · 03/01/2025 20:20

It was heartbreaking!

I remember at the time what a fantastic friend Robin Williams proved to be and I agree with the lady at the end who said she though RW would still be alive if Chris was.😥

Then Chris's poor wife dying only 18 months after he did leaving 13 year old Will an orphan.

It was lovely to see the close relationship between Will and his 2 half siblings though and he has grown into a lovely young man who has recently got engaged.

I agree, the documentary was so well done.

I haven't seen it yet (on Now) but it's available to watch on iTunes and Prime, if you don't have Sky or Now.
