Just watched episodes 1 & 2, OMG it's just a series of clips stitched together in an attempt to create a ridiculously fake storyline.

The only bit I was interested in was why Harley's mum and brother-in-law didn't come to the wedding. And I wanted to see the dance but Millie chickened out.

Who puts that in their phone and not just the person's name ?

The only time I have X's mum is when it is/was a new friend of a DC at school or something..

A huge amount of it is fake and just for the cameras. They are given the storylines which don't reflect much or any of their actual lives now.
The Chloe / Luke thing was all fake. There was never any great falling out.
Ditto the wedding much of that was a staged story line which reflects little of what was actually going on.

It's such drivel. Imagine that they've really exploited their kids all these years and not got savings for them. No ambition, no drive just happy with an unstable/no job and three kids before marriage. Just sponsored tat and short term fun.

Who's pregnant? Had to turn off half way through the wedding part 1.

They’ve never had 22 kids running around, some - had left home and had kids of their own when the younger ones were born . She had 22 pregnancies, sadly one was still born. It’s wrong to describe the family as living with one great brood of 22.
I found it interesting when they struggled to look after the family, and had to be resourceful eg Noel making the bunk beds, decorating etc. Now it’s all showing off the home makeovers, numerous holidays abroad, contrived situations which are so obvious, mountains of presents at Christmas and on birthdays that can’t possibly be appreciated properly- doubt if each one remembers what they were given.
There is little motivation to train for careers, apprenticeships etc, we are not shown whether the children have any talents eg music, or productive hobbies( apart from the girls following their parents’ examples of producing yet more children!) We are shown silly things like leaving a christening gown on the table next to a red drink and a child jumping around on the table unsupervised inevitably tipping the drink over the dress, leading to how Sue saved the day, and how the older ones were sent to do the grocery shopping, failing miserably, because the producers think it is good viewing. The older boys are always lolling on their beds gaming, and appear to have few practical skills. People will tire of this family, if they haven’t already, as it is milked dry of contrived plots.
