I was thi8mnkinga baout this last nigh (I onlyu watched aboy 10 mins oif it, and then enede up watching a prog abouyt fanjos )
What I did see was v upsetting, and I am normally a cold fish about stuff like this.
I bet non of us can hold our hand up and say that we have never put our child in a situation of vulnerablity, can we? I have left DS1 in the garden for a few second while getting washing out of the machine, a few seconds, yes, but thats's all it takes. Anyone can get into our garden.
I justy saw them on GMTV - Fiona holier than thou phillips said something about "surely you can see what peolep are saying about you laeaven them?" I don;t reeally see how thatr's helpful tbh - what's done is done. Yes they were undenaibly naive, even stupid, to leave their children, and it's something that needs to be discussed, BUT I feel it's taklen too much focus of nthis investigation.
I feel desperately sorry for them. What I saw on that doco were 2 desperately broken parents.
