Keats was one of the great Romantic poets. 'season of mists and mellow fruitfulness'. Romantic in the natural world and the romantic love senses. If on MAFS, John Keats was asked to list three things he loved about a woman, I'm certain they would be unforgettable.

I know it makes for good tv (apparently) but why are the so called experts pushing couples together that clearly have no chemistry. Casper is an absolute arse and she deserves better. I can't see how this programme does anything for a persons self worth.

I'd like to have seen Keats deadlift 130kg though. All that lying about coughing into handkerchiefs didn't get him hench.

But I agree, Nathan seems a good egg. I think being put on the spot like that wasn't ideal for him.

My appreciation of a turn of phrase on here is in no way a criticism of Nathan's whole personality, as I went on to say in his defence. I find it strange that someone who struggles so much to express himself, to comprehend what's being asked of him, or to project much personality, was picked for this kind of show. I imagine he's much better when not being filmed or put on the spot.

I know they need a mix of personalities, but don't think this is a good on screen vehicle for his better points.

As someone with adhd I completely got Nathan last night, getting put on the spot with questions can mean either we go blank or too much stuff comes into our heads and we don’t know what to choose

He was the same at the start and got told off for being overwhelmed at the altar 'I don't want nice, I want stunning' or something.

I saw this. I could see the cogs whirring behind his eyes. I can well see how it takes a while to process and then the panic sort of sets in and then he's probably focusing on thinking 'Fuck. Say something!' Instead of formulating words.

I don't think it's fair to fire questions at him. He needs warning. I'm sure he has loads nice to say in a more relaxed way when he's had time to think.

The Adam and polly coupling doesn’t seem so awful now. They are being relatively nice to each other and seem to get on. There is no awful toxic shouting or anything. He is deluded but then, you cant be forced in to fancying someone.

More has been mentioned about Adam having sex at the start then stopping, than Eve and Charlie who did the same.
To me the fact that Eve shows no kindness, no fondness, no cooperation [after 10 seconds] or emotional intelligence since and seems to bait Charlie at every opportunity makes her extremely manipulative and quite frankly, unhinged.
I find her threatening.

I think Kaspar (Caspar?) is not as delusional as some. I think his disappointment is genuine. It is just an unlucky coincidence.

Emma is clearly a very strong personality. She’s very headmistressy. I’m strongly reminded of Emma Thompson in Love Actually.

I don't know about full series (I seem to think she called time after the park bench incident) but Kwame and Kasia got a good way through. Actually, mind you, in Aus, that Bryce and Melissa. Bryce is probably still on about how much he loves blue eyes and they have twins.

Can someone please explain to me why Caspar is being vilified for not liking his chubby bride when about 90% of brides who have been on this show have openly said they don't want a short husband. After all, being fat is something the person can do something about, being short is not.

And okay Caspar is not exactly ripped, but I'm struggling to remember ever seeing a pairing where there's a chubby bloke and less chubby girl. Would Mel be so scathing in that situation I wonder, if the girl said she didn't fancy the guy cos he was fat?

Why is it considered normal now that all blokes need to be 'hench' and girls can be as fat as they like and still think of themselves as supersexy?

And while we're on the subject, there's no way Caspar's bride is a size 14. Come off it.

They're being asked to see past the physical and explore a relationship they wouldn't necessarily choose for themselves.
Quite how that is supposed to work in such a short period of time though is beyond me.

Caspar clearly has a fraught relationship with his sister. The last thing he wants is to come home every night to a similar relationship.

Additionally, while both Emma and Polly are attractive, they're not beautiful as some have declared on previous threads. Both are terribly dressed inasmuch as little of their clothing seems to do anything for their figures. With Emma, we can't even blame the stylists as the white trousers/black top ensemble testifies.
