I can see Polly is going to be annoying again. Why doesn’t she just focus on her own situation. she’s was so involved in the Alex and Holly thing as well.

Alex and Eve would both terrify me in a relationship.

He comes across as extremely controlling and very much a "you must abide by my rules" type of person.

Eve clearly is very damaged by some past experience and cannot deal with emotions at all. She also seems to have very little self awareness & doesn't see outside her own rigid view.

I think both could dangerously flip out at any moment.

I'm standing by my previous view that Charlie is properly awful. I think that Charlie kind of sets the arguments up. Also we didn't see the big honeymoon argument with the door banging and don't know what Charlie said there so Eve may well have grounds for not trusting Charlie...

True but we do know that Eve was happy enough to shag Charlie in between arguments then need space and didn't trust her again. Feels like very mixed messages.

I sort of feel like Charlie's issues are incredibly apparent. She is scared of rejection so lashes out when she feels it coming. Eve doesn't seem like she feels anything!

Does anyone else feel slightly uncomfortable with Paul's advice to Holly that they have to resolve all disagreements in private? So she has to negotiate with someone with possibly abusive tendencies without support from friends/witnesses. 🤔

But we can only go by what we’ve seen, and what I’ve seen is Eve not really making a concerned effort. She runs away at any mildly difficult conversation or inconvenience. She could’ve literally written a short letter to Charlie explaining what she was trying to explain verbally. That she wasn’t in a place yet where she felt she could share her inner emotions and experiences.

Honestly they’re both awful. I don’t see how they could possibly work at all. Their communication styles are at opposite ends of the scale.

If Paul didn't know about the accusations which I'm betting producers kept hidden, then it makes perfect sense to try and resolve problems away from the rest of the group/in public settings.

However, Alex does look so aggressive. He also seems to have short man syndrome which is weird as I dont think he's actually short. But I suppose you can't judge a book by it's cover so I do hope the advice was given in good faith

I am genuinely struggling to be interested in the show now. We are seeing nothing but conflict, purely abusive and toxic interactions, and very clearly staged and manipulated scenes. Keeping Up With The Kardashians is more authentic than this show, and it's pissing me off. Usually the balance tips the other way, which is what keeps you going. We are yet to see any non-staged engagement from anyone.

Also, I don't see where Alex has been 'aggressive'. He shows empathy when Holly is upset when she reveals past traumas. She was awful to him, swearing at him on the honeymoon when he wanted a nap after a long flight. He's been complimentary about her looks & was hurt & defensive when his comments about wife swapping were brought up out of context. He didn't respond as well as he should have done but I totally get his perspective that it should have been discussed in private without the drama & an audience. I think he's getting a hard time on here because of the DV accusation but that hasn't been proven (to my knowledge anyway) & he hasn't behaved aggressively towards Holly on this show.

She's a bit like a cyborg. But in reverse in that she runs away. Probably for the best.
