So apparently Polly has been on lives on TT/Instagram and she’s apologised for her ‘delivery’, but not the stuff she’s said. And then when people called her out for her bullying behaviour, she’s basically said to everyone who’s called her out that she doesn’t give a fuck and told everyone to ‘get a life’.

So she can’t blame any ‘bad edits’ as she’s showing this same behaviour all over social media.

My ex partner mentioned when he saw the ads for MAFS that he knew Polly when they were teenagers.
He was confused when I mentioned she said she was bullied and moved schools several times due to this. He said she wasn't the nicest of people back then. I was surprised when he first said this but the recent episodes only consolidated what he said about Polly.

TitsInAbsentia · 21/10/2024 21:29

I don't think arseholes ever really change their colours...pardon the pun!
Polly is going to struggle to come back from this to be honest. And rightly so. You can't just forget your history of being a twat.

MouseMinge · 22/10/2024 04:59

Maybe she had to change schools because she was the bully and not the one being bullied.

Warmwoolytights · 22/10/2024 13:15

I’ve heard that Ryan was removed for biting Shannon but allowed to film stuff saying he’d decided to leave and she was asked to sign an NDA about the whole thing without being able to discuss it with anyone. If all that is true, it’s disgusting behaviour on the part of the production team.

Bouledeneige · 22/10/2024 14:30

Really disappointing how this series has been handled. When I first heard the rumour I assumed it was Alex who would have been controlling or abusive. But on what planet is biting happening? And what role does the film crew, production team and 'experts' have in protecting the cast?

It seemed to me that Ryan's response to Stephen wanting to hit on his wife was sowing the seeds of his jealousy and control even though Sionainn was adamantly uninterested in Stephen's advances. I suspect a lot more was going on behind the scenes.

On a different tack I couldn't believe that Richelle has gone so unchallenged in her bullying and aggression towards Orson. And how was Orson or Hannah's behaviour unacceptable when both their partners had so whole heartedly dumped them?

Where's the calling out of bullying by the girls and double standards from Stephen and Polly - one minute bullying Hannah for being flirty and then trying to set up Stephen with Sionainn?

A really bad cast this year with some very unpleasant people....

Warmwoolytights · 22/10/2024 14:35

The outrage over Hannah and Orson felt totally fake all round. No one gave a shit and it only looked worse that the experts mentioned it without calling out the truly unpleasant behaviour (on screen - whatever Paul says we can’t be expecting to watch it assuming other things are happening, as that’s just not how TV works).

Hannah is hinting heavily on her Insta that they come back.

If that's true then so so poor. He will surely only go on to do that again or worse to another woman. The carpet this shit is getting brushed under has a massive law suit sized lump under it.

Pieandchips999 · 22/10/2024 21:53

@Warmwoolytights god I really hope that's not true. I'd have to stop watching

Pieandchips999 · 22/10/2024 22:18

On a lighter note Sacha is mainly profiling Christianity and signing in her tiktok while dressing line a nun. Most unexpected outcome

purplespink · 22/10/2024 22:38

I've tried to find Siannon's insta, but nothing is coming up. Has anyone else managed to find it?

purplespink · 22/10/2024 22:45

@martinisforeveryone @NerdWhoEatsMedlar thank you both so much!Smile

Wow. Lovely family. Poor Lacey.

TitsInAbsentia · 23/10/2024 08:28

I think poor Paige too, she's basically mummy's little shadow. She needs to cut the apron strings!

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 23/10/2024 17:21

Violent then?

chickenlettuceunderbacon · 23/10/2024 17:48

Fair play to Hannah!

I read that Ryan was made to leave following 'bite marks' on Sionainn which led to an alternative narrative on tonight's episode. God knows, the editing seems to be telling a whole other story to whatever it is that's going on.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 23/10/2024 17:51

But then Sionainn and Ryan were apparently unbothered by each other at the reunion which you wouldn't expect in the circumstances.

MouseMinge · 23/10/2024 18:35

I'm calling the bite made up gossip. It doesn't matter how much the show would want to keep it quiet unless they want to be totally and utterly destroyed and cancelled they wouldn't then allow him to come to the reunion. Would they?

chickenlettuceunderbacon · 23/10/2024 18:40

I actually agree, but at the same time, I strongly suspect something more happened than what they're claiming their reason for leaving is

I agree. I don't think he suddenly started reminding her of an ex. Or maybe he did. Maybe the boiling rage just beneath the surface that wasn't there at the beginning that fucked it for her. I'm just glad that for all the low self esteem that the face work and shaking seems to indicate that she has enough dignity to not allow herself to continue a relationship with someone she's uncomfortable with at best, scared of at worst.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 23/10/2024 19:53

@MouseMinge I can't quote you but I agree completely.

A lot of people have questioned why people were concerned Ryan was potentially a problem.

You've summed it up with the underlying bordering rage.

At the commitment ceremony the bouncing leg, clenched jaw and the continued aside comments despite Sionann showing absolutely no interest in Stephen.

Also the argument after girls day on the retreat. She seemed to say she wouldn't be telling tales on anything said and he took it as she had said something negative about him.

Lacey intervened and she took the opportunity to leave very quickly.

Red flags right there.
