I had read that he spoke to her more than once in a sexualised manner that she found upsetting. Can't remember where, don't have a source. Could've been on this thread.

Gio has been feeding stories and his side to the Mail the last few months.
Amanda has been feeding stories and her side to the Sun the last few months.
Sexual abuse was "humiliation" not harassment and stemmed from a video forwarded to her from Gio, in turn forwarded to him from a crew member allegedly (others have talked of the salsa lift/comments made about Jonathan but no evidence just hearsay).
It was thought Gio was to be exonerated earlier then the Krishnan interview came so they had to look into it more. I also think that's why Laura came forward publicly.
I'm not sure which way it has gone but think the latest Sun report would suggest it hasn't gone Amanda's way. Whether it will be phrased as a personality clash or not remains to be seen.
That said, if it had gone Gio's way then I am surprised he's taken the dance gig over I'm a celeb in November. Although the former may become a regular gig, it's not paid as well as the UK version according to some articles. The slebs get more per episode but the pros are paid monthly.

Shame Ranvir didn't back her publicly. Don't get me wrong - her partner still works on the show I think and it wouldn't help her career: if anything she'd get slammed for going along with the showmance so I don't blame her for doing as much as she could but not making an official statement.
The Beeb could have dealt with all of this much much sooner.

The sleb costumes though - all over the place in terms of colour palette. I know the venga bus is coming but thought there'd be a bit more colour coordination.

I’m not looking forward to it as I normally do, but perhaps that’ll change as the series gets going.

Dismayed by the happy family fakery and bored of Sunday night results show fakery (the latter has irritated me for ages).

I think it needs a proper reboot for 2025.

When they repeated the first ever episode recently I thought one of the things that was better was the costumes being flattering to everyone. Those pastel coloured suits they have stuck the men in are putting me in mind of Duncan Norvelle. Very 1980s light-entertainer.

It's strange. Maybe they'll all look better and more shimmery on the night.
Without spoilers - that's the other thread - many of the pros are in bright colours in the trailer and the group dance.
Pastel and bright is a weird combo.
The men are all a hodge podge and the women don't really match either.
Often the slebs come down the red carpet together.
I can just about group them.
Nick could walk Toyah down as his bright pink detail goes with her dress. Sam, Tash and Tom could walk together in the blue.

I don't get why it annoys people so much - it would be weirder (to my mind) if they kept saying 'earlier' on a show broadcast on a Sunday when the 'earlier' was shown on Saturday.
Loads of TV quiz shows that are filmed in blocks do it (House of Games, Countdown, Pointless etc, etc) but no one stresses about them treating them like fools/lying to them.

Exactly. They're not trying to hoodwink.
If it was on live at 10.30pm Saturdays, people would complain that's too late for a family show, or that they couldn't stay up for the result due to working the next day etc.

I think they were made by DSI or one off the other big dancewear companies in the early series. I think the female pros sometimes wore their own dresses as well.

I'm fairly sure the men just wore the same tailsuit for most of the ballroom too.

They've become much more costume-y recently.

If the celebs all have a pro from the opposite sex, then that's an equal number of male and females altogether.

You've still only got 6 female celebs amd thats been the case since the final line up announcement.

I get it, some people are still annoyed about there being more male contestants than females, with someone even wishing injury on male contestants. There's nothing more to be done, so either accept it and watch ot or don't.

Even if they're gay, they don't have to dance in a same sex pairing.
Johannes, for example, has danced with men and with women.
