Fizzy I was just writing something about Danielle and the Iga stuff- I'm a bit bemused by it- I have read it all several times, and still don't see what Iga did that was so wrong. I think Danielle can be a bit of an odd fish, and I don't know what she gained by being so salty about it all. It seems a bit defensive- either she was injured , or she wasn't.

So yes, I do wonder if it affected Iga. She played some very un-Iga like tennis yesterday.

I see Ebden and Peers are a set and a break up vs Fritz and Paul. C'mon the Aussies!

I don't really understand why Danielle said that to Iga - I also couldn't really see what Iga had done that was so wrong (I didn't see the match though). Apparently Emma Navarro had a go at Zheng at the end of their match as well - weird

I don't know what is going on with the women's game at the Olympics. Iga refused to shake hands with the umpire after yesterday's match but I have no idea why! They all need a holiday!

In other news I finally got round to googling what the mascot is supposed to be.

We did that last week, because it seemed to random. Even after googling it, it still seems odd .

I know it's based on a hat, but it also looks like a bird.

I supposed it's no stranger than Goody the dragon fish

Then it brought up the London 2012 mascot and I thought hmm maybe not so weird after all

Somewhere we have the 2012 mascot- and, most randomly of all (and we still still have these in the kitchen) , 2012 Paralympic oven gloves (they were on sale in Sainsbury's).
