Bloody hell when I lived in Paris for a term in my youth I was PLAGUED by an upstairs neighbour practising Imagine every night on his guitar, I’m getting flashbacks of the bad kind

We've gone from a drowning piano to a flaming one (they've done that on Eurovision before) and that well known french song by one of Paris's finest "Imagine" by John Lennon.

Literally just said to DH that if those two popped up the catwalk would have made more sense.

I feel sorry for the performers (some better than others). It must be so hard without atmosphere and a mass audience to respond. It must feel quite isolated on bridges and barges. Not really the iconic moment you might be hoping to be participating in.
