You guys with Sky box problems - do you have an old style aerial socket in the wall you could plug into? You can buy a cheap connection lead and use old-style telly that way. [Make sure you get the right 'endings' on the lead ie check whether both outlet and inlet are male or female].

I've had this now for ages after trying to sort the connections. Been fine all night.

@GrandTheftWalrus when my sky box does that I have to plug it out for about ten minutes, then plug in and it restarts itself, when prompted to push the home button and wait a few seconds it kicks back in as normal.

You never know but it's worth a try.

I'm at my wits end with sky, my monthly payment is ridiculous, broadband and telly and also a land line that doesnt work, when I try get in touch I get a robot asking the same questions over and over again.

Ah Sky. I keep getting calls, emails and letters from them as my Sky HD box will no longer be supported or get updates soon and they keep offering me Sky Q for free. Only problem is, I'm on a communal Sky dish, the Housing Association who own the leasehold for the building haven't upgraded it for Sky Q and refuse to let the Sky engineers in to do so (has to be their engineers, they even have a different lock on the door, most blocks of flats have a special lock so Sky can get in to the cupboard).

I might leave if they're not going to support my box and move to Freeview and BT for Broadband. Cut my bills because it's just going up and up these days.

Could we get back to Emmerdale lol.

Even though we are on the Emmerdale thread, there’s no reason for the posters who have Sky to stop talking about it because it enables them to watch Emmerdale and other tv programmes and if they want to complain about Sky and how rubbish it is, let them. They’re not harming anyone

I've missed a week or so. Have they worked out what's wrong with Moira yet? Does anyone else think they're going down the menopause route and what it does to women?

No, we don’t know what is wrong with Moira yet. We’ve been speculating on here from menopause to alcoholism to a brain tumour then we listed everyone in Emmerdale who has had those lol

Did anyone notice when Moira was looking in drawers for her auction book there were loads of unopened letters/bills in there.

I thought loads of people put envelopes in their drawers .....to be dealt with later..(.......never if possible!)

Though surely a cattle farm has folders for these sort of things ...not random knicker drawer that the rest of us !!

I wondered about Angel and a new head @xxSideshowAuntSallyxx they'll put her change of appearance down to all the plastic surgery resulting from the fights 😂 but I think someone’s already mentioned a twitter post where she’s said to the Cathy actror she’s looking forward to working with her again soon?
