So Jack's relationship with John's mum was an actual storyline? Not just a random thing that's been added now years later to shoehorn in a new character?
Did we learn about her getting pregnant back then too?

I'm amazed that John's mum was actually in Emmerdale and as @Snozzlemaid said, not just shoehorned in years later with the viewers being manipulated. Like with Faith and Frank supposedly having an affair when they were never on screen together 🙄

Moira was drinking, didn't she have a problem with alcohol some time ago, maybe that is why she's behaving so oddly?

Aaron is the man who is least likely to get anyone pregnant but seems to be the only one to know what a condom is and actually use it!

Can Emmerdale introduce any new character without them being "mysterious"?

I don’t see how they could because when Ashley had dementia, the way Emmerdale did it was so good. He had early onset dementia I think so if it is another dementia storyline, maybe they’d go for a different type?

Has there been a brain tumour storyline? I know I suggested an alcoholic storyline because she said that’s nice as she was drinking whiskey but then again, Emmerdale has Laurel who is a recovering alcoholic

@JewelleryCat I can't recall a brain tumour storyline but we've just had Chas with BC. For me it's so similar to how my dad went before he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The frightening change of mood and aggressiveness followed by affection and not remembering being aggressive. Forgetfulness. Time will tell I guess. Maybe she's just turned jnto a moody arsehole 🤣

Next choice for me would be drugs but would she be so stupid considering Holly died of an overdose plus we have Jai who is a recovering addict

I'm voting brain tumour.

I'm erring towards this too. My lovely friend has just lost her far too young husband to a brain tumour. It's been a bit triggering for me lately with the BC storyline (I've had it) and I wish they could just do some happy stuff for a while!

Yes Brenda had a brain tumour. I wouldn't mind if they gave Rodney some illness or other as he's well past his sell by date.
