Haven't watched Emmerdale for a while, tuned in and why did they completely change Samson's character. Why do so many go to prison ? Couldn't he have gone travelling or something. Storylines still rubbish

I wondered too if they're going down an illness route with Moira too. The glass comment was really weird!

Why does Amelia keep banging on about "Esther's dad". Samson made it abundantly clear he was not interesting in being a parent. He has nothing to do with the baby and he's been sodding useless and cruel about her. He's been cruel to Amelia. He stole Noah's money. Yet she's standing there bereft. Get a bloody grip girl 🙄

The Amelia stuff is nonsense. Esther was conceived in a one off bunk up and Samson has no interest in her so she's just behaving ridiculously.

Why can't we have a new young male character who isn't gay for a change?

They need to stop bringing in individual characters. Get a new family. Do something decent with the teenagers instead of crime and pregnancy.

Are ITV making cutbacks with filming? So many missing scenes, no court appearance for Samson, no car crash scenes since the Chloe/Mac/Charity debacle, I know it's a tricky time slot for younger viewers but it never used to stop them and we got the distressing Belle/Tom scenes shoved in our faces - it's gone very basic to say the least 😐so disjointed.

I am surprised Charity hasn't clocked on at how bad Noah has been treated.

I don't understand the moira story at all any more. Did she initially say something about matty's Dad as if he were still alive? Matty looked up at her like she said something totally bizarre, but then she sort of just went off on one again.
