Yes, can’t really see her beating Coco. But she’ll get the chance to play on a show court and even getting to the 3rd round will be a nice paycheck and ranking boost.

Going back to the scheduling why have they put two men’s matches on centre with a 1.30pm start and two women’s matches on No 1 with an earlier start?

It doesn’t make any sense - Osaka/Navarro could be a long match and then it’s Jannik and Matteo which could also be a long one

The Goffin/Machac match (which no doubt everyone has now forgotten all about- poor Tomas) is in the latter stages now of the 5th set. Which seems kind of fitting. Goffin has has a chance to play, and Machac hasn't lost - yet.

Weird that Dan has only just finished his first round match when others have already completed their second round matches. I don’t understand why they don’t put the held-over first round matches on first to try and get those completed before starting second round matches.

Weird match. Goffin was 5-0 up in the fifth, served twice for the match, been broken back twice and now it's 5-5

Goffin often finds himself in long 5 set matches - he was in an brilliant one against Tiafoe the other year. It was one of the matches of the tournament, and hardly anyone was watching it. Went on for ages.

Sad Dan has gone put 😢. Don't think his heart was actually in it today though.
