@JaneJeffer you might know this. Lydia in particular and one or two of the other actors have started nodding at the end of sentences. And I noticed the new lad Josh doing it. Is it another case of the same acting coach? [Like Mackenzie and Max from Corra having similar acting traits]

Oh I don't know the answer to that one Telling but I noticed that a lot of the twenty somethings always put emphasis on the name of whoever they're talking to by pausing for a second before and after they say it e.g. Listen (pause) TOM (pause) I told you I'd do it. It's really annoying. Nobody speaks like that in real life! It must be an acting school thing.

Ooh yes, that too. And something else very similar eg

'YOU. Need to go home and relax'

'YOU. Are such a joker'

etc

Oh and also - when two characters are arguing:

'Tom please'
'Liam please'
'Bob please' etc

Sign of lack of writing expertise imo.

That head nodding is really annoying. Victoria and Amelia do it as well but Lydia is the worst. When she combines it with her meerkat arms pose it annoys the hell out of me. A few of them do the nodding heads in Corrie as well. I think I’m turning into an irritable, grumpy old fecker lately.

@TellingBone ooh yes, put a pair of old NHS black framed specs and Liam could "MrEdges" (Privet). I wasn't in my pram when Please Sir was on TV, eek that was a long time ago!
