Now that I think about it’s pretty bonkers having an outdoor tournament in Germany in April. The weather isn’t much different than here, surely?

After Rafa lost all the tournaments seem to have merged onto one and Sky flitting about has confused me even more!

The bits that I saw from Munich reminded me of when they moved the French Open to October -so many base layers

Aww I've just seen that was Carlos' last time umpiring a match

Oh I do like Umpire Carlos - I think that he’s mostly fair - although he was involved in Rafa’s shorts malfunction incident (where he had to change his shorts on court and put them on backwards )

I think he looks after the players without making it all about him (like Mo!)

Fizzy the shorts incident was ridiculous really, but I think they put it behind them (pardon the pun).

Although- I think it might also have been Carlos who gave Rafa a time violation at Wimbledon once before a match had even started .

I like to know who the umpires are, almost as much as I do the players. I have the ones I like (and the ones I don't ).

The schedule in Barcelona looks good, but I'm not holding my breath we will see much of it

The Cerundolo/Navone match has ( 3rd set held over from yesterday) has just started.

I was happily watching Marton Fucsovics - and they have taken that match off.

And not even to put on the Ruud match(Trying to watch that on my phone). I mean, I like Iga. But we had a whole after noon of WTA matches yesterday.

They don't even say they're doing it so you're never sure if they're just flicking to it for a minute. Sky are awful.

Casper is doing well so far.

Jane I know- I had literally gone in the kitchen for 30 seconds and the match had changed. Really not impressed.

It was quite the Struffing, really. Poor Holger. Good thing we like Struff!

I am just catching the end of Stef's match- looked like he was in trouble for a bit, but now is on course to repeat last week's MC final, tomorrow.

Stef does seem to be getting his mojo back.

I'm surprised actually that Stef has never won in Barcelona- but I suppose not many have, when Rafa has dominated. It's the tournament I first remember seeing Stef do well at- when he reached the final against Rafa in 2018, and the weather was really gloomy, Stef looked like a young Grecian God in the rain

And Djok the Satanic Sulk isn't playing in Madrid.
