That was really horrible, it upset me. I’ve never been in that position of dv but you could feel her pain. When will someone see what’s going on?

Really didn't enjoy that episode - and especially having to hear it twice. Dark and shouty.

Rhona is being a complete dick. How can she not see or accept that she is dictating every single thing? And she just dismisses Marlon for saying he keeps using the same argument... Well that's because you keep doing the same thing and don't seem able to see it or care! She is really pissing me off.

Tom is a complete arsehole but I thought/hoped when Belle was listening to Rhona say that she wouldn't put up with this/that and wouldn't be there in the morning, that Belle would see she could do the same thing (and in her case, justifiably!). But doesnt look as though that will be the case.

And boy, the gaslighting/manipulation etc seems over now. He's just a complete and utter arse 100% of the time so I'm not sure why he thinks he'll be able to continue to get away with it, it's escalated so quickly. Previously he was 'cleverer'(?) at making her second guess herself the whole time. Now he doesn't seem to bother - surely he's got to worry he won't get away with it? (Maybe it's the booze and he'll pretend to be contrite in the morning).

I'm really struggling with such a pathetic man being so abusive. There's nothing about him.

But I say that having realised bad stuff about my STBEH.

Maybe marrying Belle was his prize in a way so he doesn’t have to worry about not masking it anymore

Yes i wouldn't watch it again, it brought so many emotions back and it's been almost 7 years for me.

Really upsetting episode. My 13 yo son was watching it with me. I was in two minds but I am trying to raise a young man entirely alone and because of his father's behaviour, I am very much aware that I want his path to be different and to be able to guide him as such. He found it quite shocking and I was glad.

I really hope that they bring this storyline to a close soon and that the arsehole gets his just desserts. Kudos to the actors for telling the story so well.

I've got my suspicions that Mandy is onto him, it was strange that she went upstairs to check on Belle after Tom had. She's all nicey nicey with him, but I wonder if that's a game

I was confused when Paddy said what Mandy means is...... after Tom said they were trying for a baby as Mandy's response seems friendly.
