Hopefully the script writers might remember about the balaclava thugs and bring them back to finish him off. Although it would be more satisfying to see the Dingles come to Belle’s rescue. Or maybe Cain could ask Kim to call him to the stables and let her lovely white horse give him a few well aimed kicks. He’s definitely a man deserving of a horse hoof in the nackers.

When they did the coercive control storyline in The Archers ( and they did it very well) it played out over almost two years I think. I don’t think Emmerdale will spend that long but I hope the scriptwriters make a good job of it and show the subtleties of controlling behaviour. Not just Cain and another Dingle tying Tom up in a barn.

Once Eric and Rodney have seen off Amit perhaps their next project could be uncovering what happened to Frank.

Have the new writers taken effect yet? Script much better in the last few episodes.

The Tom thugs story is one of quite a few that never came to anything - Frank's murder, the van driver and Alex etc

They must think we're daft forgetting about these.

Yes @JewelleryCat and @PrincessScarlett I posted that before the end and can see him making it all about him and using Belle's previous mental health issues to his advantage.

He needs a visit from Cain, a trip in a van that ends up dangling (then falling) over the edge of a cliff or being locked in an old barn and forgotten about.

I watched it late when I got home from my daughter’s and regretted it. The Belle and Tom storyline is disturbing and I was still thinking about it when I went to bed.

Yeah ...the Belle and Tom storyline is going to be hard to watch 😞😞😡.

Hopefully with such a small village things will become obvious to other people .

I feel Mandy is going to take over the drama and the.. woe is me ...Paddy kissed Chas ...and deflect from what is going on with Belle.

Belle tried to open up in the salon with Suzie and Mandy ....and Mandy brought it all back to herself.

I think Suzie is going to be Belle's saviour.

Hopefully she will keep her eye on things .
