Why has Eric agreed to transfer money to Amit so quickly? He doesn't even know the bloke. Eric was always the shrewdest of businessmen. Even Rodney has warned him so can obviously see an element of risk.

I didn't like any of that episode. Too much Tom and too much Amit. Both despicable shits.

I hope the Tom/Belle story isn't going to drag on for too long but I fear it will.

Will we ever get a newcomer who is just a normal decent person?

Eric was always wheeling and dealing at everyone else’s expense. Hopefully he hasn’t lost all his conniving skills and he’ll do the dirty on Amit.

How can they do good, well-written storylines like Charity's PTSD and Chas' breast cancer, and mix it wiith shite like we've seen tonight?

Actually, I'm quite riled that they have Eric immediately giving money to dodgy Amit when he wouldn't even give his own son money despite constant begging from David. It just doesn't make sense at all.

I don't get the Amit money thing either. I'm hoping Eric is stitching him up but haven't been paying that much attention tbh. Maybe Eric didn't want to give money to David as he knew he was a waste of space and wasn't going to make a success of the shop.
