I agree JaneJeffer. He’s been an arrogant shit since the day he arrived in the village. If family was so important to him he wouldn’t have had an affair with Tracy. And if he had genuine feelings for Tracy he wouldn’t have done that to her tonight. Ruby is a crazy cow but Caleb didn’t need to do what she told him.

No idea why Caleb did that to Tracey. Ruby said she'd do it if he didn't, so why didn't he just let her? Better her, than him riling up his supposedly beloved family even further, surely?

Don't understand her game either. One minute she's telling Kim she's setting him up, the next she's devastated at the thought of him wanting the Dingles more than her.

Unless the plan was for him to have no-one apart from her, before screwing him over.

But then always so desperate for another "early night" with him.

I have some questions- has there been any explanation for nicky the non nanny having a geordie accent when neither of his parents do?
Why did caleb go to apologise to Tracey? Guilt? It was so soon after his rampage.
Why would anyone leave a wig on that long?
Is Ruby planning on his downfall or not? Can someone just kill her please?

Chas shot right up on my good list there. She was at the bottom of the shit pile 2 days ago so it's an achievement.

Must be a holiday shift change with all these characters I'd forgotten existed & not missed like Amy, Matt, Amelia.
Big age gap couples seem more common in gay men. I thought Ruby/Layla were a similar age and younger than Rhona & Vanessa which then makes the Mary match seem creepy. She needs a regular tourist rambler to serve at the pub, they live miles away so Mary can bugger off for weeks and we get a break from all the 'poppet-ing'

Ruby's voice is as grating as whiney Wendy 😩 she should get together with nasty Tom, their equally unhinged, jealous & abusive. With Ruby saying they'd been together since he was at the children's home i reckon they'll portray Caleb as under Ruby's control and that's why he never manages to split up with her and does what she wants even though he didn't want to hurt Tracey & knew it would trash his chances to get back in with the Dingles.

I didn't realise Tracey was a prostitute, thought she worked on a phone sex line when she first arrived and was scamming someone🤔 or was that Kerry? Would Kerry not have been searched if arrested.

@Pollypopoff according to Emmerdale fandom wiki, Tracy was a prostitute but then gave it up and moved onto adult chat lines

I wish Swirling had gone to see Charity while he was in the village. They have a special bond. Maybe he could convince her to get help. I know she said she's seeing someone next week but is she really going to?

He was too busy being Mike the taxi driver for Cher 😡
She was accused of theft on the cruise ship and somehow arrived in Hotten police station . Despite the theft accusation she sat through a police interview with wads of cash and a load of jewellery on her person and nobody thought to search her 🤷‍♀️

What could have been a good episode was sadly ruined by the ridiculous return of Kerry. So now we're probably going to have the village inundated with plastic cruise ship gangsters intent on getting the stolen stuff back.

My heart sank (well sort of) when I saw the awful Kerry make her ridiculous appearance.

The writers need throttling.

Kerry is my least favourite character ever in Emmerdale. Her current stupid storyline is going to drag on for ages with her lying through her teeth, Amy being all hurt and offended and Mattie over acting .

They need to remind Kerry that her daughter Chloe fell off a cliff, witnessed her gangsta dad shot dead and is now on the run with her grandson. Then help her to pack and send her on her way to visit them.

Lucy Pargeter said no one wants to see happiness on screen and that it's boring in a recent interview which seems to be the Emmerdale line because they take no notice of what the viewers actually want to see.

Yes she is. And so nasty. Brilliant acting though.

Same @Jitterybugs Kerry is also one of my least favourite characters ever....who makes this nonsense up her return last night was woeful.

I had hoped she would never return.
