Honestly I just can’t take this seriously! Social media has bred a generation of vacuous simoletons!

”How do they know so much about me?” Oh I don’t know, maybe cos you post it all on Instagram!!!!

yes yes, I have watched it. but if they had not responded and blocked him when he first messaged them, surely that would have been the end of it?

FedUpMumof10YO · 28/02/2024 07:27

He got 9 years people!!

If the problem was solved by 'blocking' do you think he wouldn't have been sentenced to that amount of time??

Also did you watch the bit where he set up multiple accounts ???

OooohAhhhh · 28/02/2024 07:31

I watched it and thought it was ok. I also watched lover, stalker, killer last night and that is amazing! So you need to watch this

User19798 · 28/02/2024 07:41

He stalked over a 100 women. The Cheshire Police lack of care and utter neglect of duty meant over 100 women suffered. Far from being simpletons, one was a paralegal who made meticulous notes and screen shots - over 700 pages - of his abuse which helped get him a 9 year sentence, longest in UK for stalking. He started this when he was 16, at school and continues when he was on bail etc. I have been stalked 2x, it is terrifying, the Police laughed at me as they did at these women. Have empathy and do not victim blame, it is his fault, not theirs.

I'm not trying to be a twat. I really do understand the lengths he went to, multiple accounts etc. and I am not underestimating the impact this has on people, not am I victim blaming. I get that once it was under way then it was way more complex than blocking him. I am genuinely trying to work out IF they hadn't entertained the initial contact/conversation COULD/WOULD it have happened. I have 2 daughters and they have had weirdos message them on SM. they don't reply, they instantly block. so I suppose, is there a load of women that ignored his initial contact and so he wasn't able to stalk? how did he chose his victims?

fabio12 · 28/02/2024 09:10

@Jennyjojo5 He picked women he was "angry" at because they had nice things like friends, holidays and success. Unless you want your daughters to have none of the above we need to tackle men that do this rather than try not to "become a victim"

@User19798 and Kent police. Wasn't Cheshire the ones where the cop who actually listened came from? I'm so shocked that even with the evidence people here are still making out he was somehow a victim and they must have encouraged him and he had no choice. It's like we're living alongside extremists.

From what I’ve read, he’s been doing it his whole adult life. The scary thing is when he comes out of prison, he’ll likely do it all over again. He didn’t stop it after being sentenced once before.

The re-inactions were ridiculous. It took all the seriousness away.
