Got the VPN set to Oz, Married at First Sight Australia is back!

I love MAFS Australia, and it's started again this week in Oz. Does anyone fancy a watch along? I watch on SouthHemiTV.

Already desperate to discuss the first two couples.

Again, as an Australian, I apologise on behalf of humanity. Maybe there is a cesspool on the Gold Coast where all these people live. I've never met a single one, but don't live there. This year was particularly atrocious. The undone shirts, ( loved Lauren's glazed ham comment) the man buns, the no socks, the dresses. The sheer horrendous of almost all the men ( Dickie and his bloody scarves, Ben who should wear a shirt at all times saying "yes I am a tosser") Eeeek!
I could post some lovely photos of my gorgeous adult sons and their lovely friends but I'm too ashamed to admit to watching MAFS, ( they don't watch it , neither do their lovely girlfriends). It used to be a bit of fun but now I really think it has jumped the shark.

The Gold Coast does seem to be this year’s epicentre. What are the chances of them not all knowing each other beforehand? I assume quite a few of them could be part of the same social scene.

I'm on episode 17. Why have they put a person with a mental illness/ psychosis on this show?! 💀

I actually fell asleep in that episode it was very boring, too long on Jade and Ridge.

Think I'm giving the final ceremonies a miss (unless you lot say there is a corker!) and pop back for reunion episode/s. I remember crying at Jules/Cam but all very obvious since then..

We cheered a little at Lauren. I’d fast forward through the Ridge and whatsername’s one and just watch the five minutes of that.

Lauren was fabulous. Definitely worth watching.

Is it all of them in this episode?

No, just 3 couples and they don't even show the ending for the muppets (Jack and Tori).

These episodes are almost always dull - the odd surprise excepted. And mostly meaningless as you watch couples declare that they want to stay together and then the reunion reveals that they just stopped calling each other the next day.

It’s completely obvious that Jack and Tori will sign on the line, and equally obvious that it’s bullshit central. The editing is so predictable.

I was so glad I could FF most of that episode. I thought Lauren did really well and summed it up and called out his bad behaviour and did it in a dignified way and made him look like a right dick. Can't believe they teased Jack n Tori til the end and then have left it til the next episode. His hair 😂

Tori is like a bot version of her mother.

I actually thought Eden and Jayden were very sweet. It does look genuine.. unlike some. Tori and Jack was painful to watch. Ughhh.

I just can't believe that Sara is genuine. She's full of BS.

I’m afraid I find Jayden unwatchable and his treatment of Eden is awful; he browbeats her (and other women on the show) until she disengages. She has looked profoundly miserable on several occasions.

She didn’t look miserable when he said he loved her or at the commitment ceremony. In fact she was very happy indeed.
