Love Island All Stars...how will it work?

Just thinking most ex-islanders know each other i.e. attend same events, work for the same brands, have the same talent management etc so will it not be a bit awkward putting them together in a villa to build connections when they sort of already know each other?

Mitch really didn't do a huge deal wrong until towards the end, when he started desperately trying to couple up , when he had been in there for months. Honestly, it seemed to me like panicked/stressed reactions to things by then.
If he'd done it all at the beginning then it would have been more of an issue to me.
He's witty, and Georgia H is the 3rd or 4th person to say he's good looking "in person", and Lib has become set on him, so he clearly has something about him

In the kissing challenge, the kisses were all hideous, like they were 13 years old. Why do they all go in so forcefully with their mouths wide open?!

@Twonewcats are you kidding??! He was creepy right from the start in the way he set his sights on Molly and then did the whole snakey underhand thing where he told her he was pretending not to like her so Zach wouldn’t get suss.

Demi was a particularly bad kisse in that challenge. Urrgggh gross!

Am I the only one who can’t stand Demi? Seems everyone loves her but her voice is going to get on my nerves very soon. Mind you I can’t stand most of them, Demi, Hannah who sorry I’m not sure what she looked like before but now looks like a porn star! I just keep hoping she will cover herself up more which obviously isn’t going to happen, they look painful! Don’t like Georgia H didn’t like her the first time round either..

It's Hannah's voice that grates on me. I can't get past it - kind of like that girl who was on the winter series a few years back, Rochelle Humes sister? She was very pretty but the second she opened her mouth, yeesh 😬

Will be interesting to see how this develops over the next few days as both Demi and Georgia H seem to be very focussed on Chris and neither have anyone else that they're interested in so they need to send some more bombshells in.

It was making me think about Casa; if all the bombshells are going to be previous contestants then presumably Casa will be too - there will be barely enough ex-contestants to follow the usual format surely...!

I think I read somewhere that they aren’t doing Casa for the All stars series.

Allegedly Tommy and Molly Mae are making a guest appearance. Hosting one of the games perhaps if true ?

I think they must learn from porn type stuff online. It seems to heavily influence everything in this generation. I guess those of us 40+ probably learned from practising on the back of our hands.

I disagree re Mitch - altho yes, at the start people were a bit "HUH?!" about him, but he improved a lot and was really funny. The islanders really liked him. And, at the end he was weird about one of them - I can't remember who - and it went a bit wrong at that point. It was a bit Stockholm Syndrome-esque the way he saw the programme in the end

Georgia S seems so different. She's definitely matured .
I heard Georgia H on Fearne Cottons podcast. She sounded really grounded and steady but then seems totally different on love island. I'm sure she said on the podcast she wanted a nice normal guy and on LI she said she wanted a celebrity who could do red carpets with her 😂

I just checked Wiki to remind myself which series they'd each been on.
I completely misremembered that Georgia H was on an earlier series than Georgia S - I'd have bet money on it being the other way around.
I also don't remember GH being particularly noteworthy in her year - did she do anything interesting?

Not sure anything else really happened on the show.

Post show she prosecuted Stephen Bear after he released a sex tape featuring her . J think he's recently released from prison for it.

In previous years the threads I've been on have had extensive speculation, based on what had been screened at that point; but not downright spoilers, and I had enjoyed them very much.

I can see however that, unlike previous ones, this thread is not one where I will fit in. I hadn't actually deleted it (which is how come I saw the one comment belittling and mocking me and the others who agreed with me) but shall do so now

They’ve always had spoilers I’ve been watching for years I only stopped watching after liberty and Jakes series but watched that one and all ones before that had spoilers and no it didn’t have a spoiler alert in the title either! The title was usually a reference to one of the episodes! Stop trying to police the thread

It’s hardly life or death to know in advance what’s going to happen in a trashy reality show! Don’t know what’s up with the massive flounce.

I didn’t pick the news up from the Mail. It was on a social media feed. I agree that these threads have always had some spoilers.

I’m fed up already, it’s all same old, same old and even Maya is getting on my nerves. But as ever, I’ll stick it out and bitch about it til the bitter end.

I've always really enjoyed the Love Island threads; the discussions and speculation is part of the joy of the show for me.

I think there have been spoilers on the previous threads but it's never seemed to be an issue; its only fuelled the chat. I've seen spoilers as a matter of course before on social media etc but if I've not wanted to see any I just don't look at the thread and stay away from social media until I'm watching the program; surely we can all still have the usual banter and chat on here without dictating what gets posted? It would be a shame not to enjoy the thread for what it is.

And as a side note, I'm thoroughly enjoying this series so far, loving the drama and it seems much more natural in comparison to recent years - long may it continue!
